I actually like Trey Gowdy, though I disagree with his political views. He seems like a respectible guy. I dont think she was there to 'win' or 'lose', but she did win in terms of her campaign for president. They raked in a lot of money from that hearing. Hillary wasn't on trial though. I thought they tripped her up on quite a few things though, and she clearly lied several times, or backpeddled at the very least.

I was hoping for a knockout blow to take Hillary out of the race completely ... it didn't happen.  I think her point that the military was and should be in charge of responding to that kind of situation worked for her. 

If the FBI doesn't come up with some really strong case for an indictment, I think she's going to be the democrats nominee.  Sad state of affairs.

There's no doubt Hillary is a piece of shit ... the question is, will the FBI produce some really incriminating evidence that the DOJ cannot ignore?

If they don't, I think she's going to be the Democrats nominee.  Disgusting, really.

The way I heard it the pubs won't cut the state dept funding and they had no money for additional security.

I think that's pure bullshit.  Our DOD spends hundreds of billions every year and has a lot of flexibility on how to provide security where needed.  There is no way that Stevens died because the US could not afford more security at that location.  That's ludicrous.

Chances are there was a lot of covert military/CIA action going out of that location and they just didn't want a lot of extra attention drawn to it.

I read something about Hillary not wanting to provide protection because she was trying to save face... somehow. Apparently she was very involved in Libya. I don't know all the details.
