I view Death as a friend and a transformation for reincarnation to the other side after your chance in the physical side expires. Most people view it as an enemy, taboo and evil. It is inevitable and clearly a part of life and the cycle of life nature.
Death doesn't judge, nor hate, discriminate others. It helps you to transform and move to the next step of life.
Every being is equal.
Death is also a spirit carrier to other dimension, like a gateway or a portal to the spirit world.
What are your opinions on this?

I've come to see it much in the same way too. Far from being fearful of it (aside from my unconscious bodily function of avoiding it) I've come to look forward to it. It feels like the next big adventure!!
-------------------- Let it be seen that you are nothing. And in knowing that you are nothing... there is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. What can happen to you? Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not. --Jac O'keeffe

'Every being is equal.' Yes, and this is really profound. . . I actually have had glimpses of it like - a pauper even affects the universe as much as a billionaire - strange, no? But it seems true at times.
'Death doesn't judge, nor hate, discriminate others. It helps you to transform and move to the next step of life.'
Liezi:
'There is, however, one thing we all have in common: death.'
hehe
(https://www.stillness.com/tao/lieh%20tzu.txt) (hm, that link doesn't seem to work ; ah, well)
and - the wild thing is - life & death are really one.. Two sides of one coin; least this is what I experienced pretty early on. . . & since then have explored & examin'd & explored. . .
It's extremely rare - like one in a million days - that I will feel desire for some comfort - in those moments, my only wish is - tell me what I know - that there is no death!
Going back, I really liked your comments & quotes. I look forward to seeing more of your insights & writings!
Thank you!

I see it as you guys do but I still have confusion over the heaven and hell realms.
My understanding of death is that in the words of John Scott "there are no anthropomorphic images on the other side". This is consistent with my experiencxes also, that the Godhead is like an undifferentiated whole consisting purely of the undescribable.
This means there are no angels, no devils, no heaven, no hell in that state of awareness, not even a personal God or individual soul. ALl the interrelated opposites become resolved into the wholeness that is the Godhead.
But I am confused about how this picture of the eternal being relates to phenomonological existence and the experiences people report following death whether through NDEs or the information that has come down to us about metaphysics through divine revelation and insight.
I think an enlightened being or Buddha might be able to stay there but what about other souls? Do they go into the Godhead and then there subtle renergies reform so they apparently wake up in some heaven realm, hell realm or intermediate state?
according to John Scott, hell can only exist through some connection or attachment to the physical, so the souls in hell haven't fully crossed over and remain trapped in a spiritual state but with some connection to physical matter I suppose.
as for the heavenly souls, perhaps they die peacefully into the Godhead and then are reborn in heaven?
another area of confusion for me is what exactly the Bible means when it talks about hell and the eterntiy of it, vs the destruction of the wicked. Many verses appear to teach that wicked souls who go onto destruction, where others seem to teach they will suffer eternally. I also understand time does not linearly from the spiritual persepctive.
But there is confusion and darkness in my mind regarding the metaphysics of how what I just drescibed atually takes place.

I'm sorry to break it to you but theres no such thing as reincarnation or a spirit world. There is no next step in life, there is only this one life. Yes death is part of the natural life cycle but once you die that is it. EVERYONE fears death even people that say they don't. I think everyone already knows on the inside what really happens at death. You go back to that prior state of darkness before you were born. Where all eternity has passed and all you saw was darkness until your first memory as a child.
I really think everyone has had this thought at least once in their life. And this dark state terrifies people and makes them feel like their lives are meaningless. Because of this people look to religion or other ridiculous afterlife theories to ease their fear of mortality.
