Oh I am sure that given enough time and global travel and intermingling it is inevitable.  Race is a product of geographic separation.  Consider the Galapagos.  When geographic separation ends race will end.  Consider pedigree dogs.  If left to their own devices, within a few generations they all become light brown medium size dogs

They wont homogenize. The genetics won't stabilize and different people will pop out looking unlike either parent. Like Labrador a poodles and apples. It just won't work the way you think

No, it really won't. You don't just get genes from each parent, they shuffle. You wont ever breed race into obscurity. Its like corn. You grow it once, then try to cross it, and you get extremely diverse results. A black and white couple can have a black baby, a white one, or a mix between for example.
I'm certain you are mistaken, as many are, with this presumption. If anything, we will see more diversity.

Look at what happens when a canine population is no longer artifically separated for breeding.  It doesn't take that many generations before they revert to the prototype

A few dogs in a group is not the same as the world with some more ability to travel. There are pockets of isolation, eebbs and flows of movement. A whole big picture. I don't understand what you mean by prototype. Genes don't just balance out and become one sort of thing, unless that thing is selected for very heavenly, unless you are talking about inbreeding. Oh I agree there will remain pockets but the vast majority who have access wil intermingle to the point that there are no significant race distinctions in the larger population.  I suspect the San people will remain isolated

There is no vast majority, only regional pockets as we have until re have some other better form of transpoet that doesn't exist. Plus, people have racial sexual preferences.

You can't breed out the gene (but it can mutate out).  But when you dilute the gene it's expression also gets diluted, particularly if the trait is recessive.  Right now blue eyed people exist because they have both genes as blue.  If that gene got perfectly mixed and distributed via long term interbreeding then effectively no child would have two blue genes.  The same amount of blue genes would exist, for the reasons you mention.  But not the same amount of blue eyes would exist, for reasons I mention.  And it is the blue eyes that help to characterize the race, not the blue eye genes.
