Indeed.  Higher than 15 psi's wouldn't hurt either.

When sterilizing 8 quarts of spawn (2 gallons), I do it in bags for 4 hours @ 20-22 psi's.

I was guessing 4 hours but now I see that 4 hours is about right. Thanks for the info.

As of now the plan is mixed grain with an undecided amount of CVG. Its only 10 inches tall but I might go for 8 inches of dept, that will be 3-4 gallons I'm guessing. I may borrow from what I've seen done with pfcakes and roll the thing in CVG after birthing it rather than casing it in the jar. My idea has not changed, highly nutritious material, at bulk amounts, ie Grain, grain flour, etc, inoculated with a quart of slurry.

Any advice is appreciated.

Using a personal connection, 100$, and a quarter ounce of dried product was able to pick up 16 - 40 pound bags powdered gypsum.

Have to show you all a pic the next time at the storage unit.  Hopefully the cam won't be forgotten.

The amount of gypsum you are looking at in one place for one single purpose (and we all know what that is.  Don't play dumb) isn't brought about in one day.  Took years of networking, and straight in your face cult to be able to achieve a mountain of gypsum that high in one call, AT my beckoning call.

I might make a terrarium from some tubs in a dbl tub fashion so basically yes. I actually have a design for filtering incoming air that I wanted to try out. If I can get it to pin all over at once, I will have achieved my goal of trying to get a maximum first flush.

I'll have the last pieces sealed by the weekend. I have some super colonized quarts available so its almost time to give it a go.

I'm thinking the carrots could be used to auto-dial in a GH/martha with US humidifier.  Lets say you get a pp5 and fill it with finely powdered coir, then stick the carrot in.  Put that in the GH and the carrot is fed with a 5 gallon bucket of water, the outlet (drip line) drips into the US water chamber. 

This means that only when the coir starts to get dry, does the US get fed water.  In other words if the coir cup is getting too saturated the US is shut down.  :mitebecool:

These are cool, I'm not sure what you would use them for though. 

-IF- you could get them in polypropylene, they would be a super fast and easy on-off mechanism for spawn jar lids, especially for you LI fans out there.


How they work is you put the lid on and press down, you can't get the lid on all the way because the air pressure builds.  So you
press a spring loaded button that plugs/unplugs an air-vent.  Then release the button when the lid is on.  At that point the lid is hard but not impossible to take off, because of the lack of air pressure as you pull the cap up.  It's supposed to be air-tight.
