Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata; The uneducated guess.
    #20827247 -

Species# The uneducated guess is Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata

Habitats:
- Small find, 4 mushrooms with a large thick mycelium in a North East facing, sheltered by large bush, strawberry patch, with mulch/bark. Boarding shaded lawn area.

- Large find, within 4 miles of small find, in photos. North East facing. Heavy mulched park area, specifically 20 feet from trees, providing shade, on a large inclined area. Mushrooms were broaching a foot depth of left litter that is earthy, moist.  The slope would be mowed once a year. Some foot traffic. Located next to a road.

Both areas had moss immediately nearby.

Gills: I hope the photos help.

Stem: Hallow. Fibrous to stringy. Firm, crisp, breaks open with a audible snap.

Cap: Ghostbuster's level of slime. Thick, sticky, can be nearly peeled away from the cap. Cap is dark green when young, nearly a hemisphere, an inch across. Ripe mushroom is a lighter cream/green color with the slime barely present or completely gone, perhaps washed away by rains. Size up to 3 inches across.

Bruising: Does not appear to bruise, presumed they are found bruised. But bruising is everywhere. The stem showing clear ‘blue cheese’ type of blue.

Spores and Print: Dark brown to purple.

microscopy: Balck and white image. Sorry no size. See separate photo.

Smell is a mild earthy to mushroomy. Not unpleasant.  I have noticed it more when dried, smells like victory.

General location: German Swiss Boarder

I don't think it's an ovoid.  That looks more like it's just that blue color rather than actual bruising.  Stropharia?

These have no veil on stem unlike Stropharia aeruginosa

Hmm they look like ovoids.
Ur pics aren't the best
But to me that looks like extreme blueing which is a characteristic of ovoids
I'm saying ovoids but for sure wait for a TI

I think they are Stropharia cyanea or another of the blue Stropharia. That print looks pretty brown.  The veil is not always evident on mature specimens due to its ephemeral nature.

But I'm not familiar with ovoids personally.  Perhaps someone else might think otherwise.

They're a blue Stropharia species.

My guess is S. cyanea or S. pseudocyanea.

I don't find them often though.

I don't think that they are ovoids...prolly stropharia. Ovoids do not have slimy caps.
