I feel sorry for when the daughter is old enough to understand that her mother was so disappointed and paranoid by the other 50% of her genetic code that she sued the sperm bank.

How many months prior? You mean the hospital just said, "Whoops, turns out you got semen #308 instead of #205?" In some states you can't get an abortion after the second or even first trimester. I have a feeling Ohio is one of those "first trimester" only states. If they were told about it only a few months before birth, then that would mean 4 months is too late.

But they didn't choose to pay for wrong semen. The whole point of artificial insemination is to get to choose from a profile that YOU want. Like dating, but without all the drama, and you can just pay for high intelligence and good looks.

- All jokes aside. I'm not sure why they had to throw in the fact that they live in an all white community and that the fact she is biracial would make it hard for her? What? Hope that wasn't advise from the lawyer because in terms of the law we are all one color. The clear wrongdoing is the fact the bank totally neglected their requests and in return gave them a life burden. This is a technical problem really. Similar to if say a shelf fell onto your foot at a wal-mart.

Sperm banks shouldn't be doing this people. If Sperm banks actually did this more, then we would be hearing stories about a white woman and white man who couldn't have a child naturally, and went to a sperm bank, and then brutally murdered the baby when it came out black and both went to prison for it. People are more racist than we like to admit.

Why give a racist person a black baby? They don't want it.
