nah wait I change my mind back again... women aren't so hard to understand. They're other human beings, there's just that added dimension of sexual politics in play.
Remember those guys in your classes that hung out with the girls a lot and you called them fags (probably 50%+ were)? They seemed to know everything about chicks, and the ones that turned out straight (or I guess, pretended to be straight), got all the hot chicks.
It's just exposure. You see more women, and you understand them better. Really, in my closest moments I feel I've understood them perfectly, it's after they break contact (or of course, before you make deep contact) that they can twist things and you don't "get it."

ya, the difference between estrogen and testosterone is like the difference between psilocybin and lsd. they both are considered hallucinogens but they are very different.

Don't bother trying to understand women, it's a waste of time. The key to dealing with women is to ignore all of their endless bullshit, and tell them what they want to hear. When they start jabbering on the way they do, just smile, and nod, and grunt in all the right places. And agree with everything she says, ALWAYS agree. It never pays to argue with a woman. If you do these things, it will give her the allusion that you care and have feelings, and she will love you for it. Then you can go off and go about you buisness like a normal human being. I hear ya Pyro, I am a woman, and have seen other friends date complete idiots for thir money, influence or to gain populatiry with peers. I have no respect for people who do this.
I have dated all kids of men. My favorite are men with an education, and enough mony to pay their own bills! Anything more is gravy

i am sorry that i dont like to "pretend" that is the same reason women are fucked up. they are pretending. then, you got both people pretending and then you got a generation of pretenders (that is what is slowly happening) and soon we will be living the way calvin klien tells us to and acting like mtv thinks we should. i think you are right though (superpimp) women are too far into the pretending fuck hole, so we just tell them what they want and make them sex objects because that is all most of them are good for now a days. giving you head and pissing you off with there mind games. and now that it is a proven fact that they ARE sex objects we give in to there antics so we can get into hole between their legs. it is an never ending cycle that is only getting worse. men wants pune, so pune owner gets meaner, and it keeps going like that. some people just need to grow up a little earlier. too many people living in fantasy land untill there in there 20's! and then theres the 6 year old girls putting on makeup and trying to wear braws. i think that is why women have severe phsycilogical problems. it is becuase they think there doing things that "girls" do but really there just making it harder to get along in the society. making it frustrating for themselves. too many womens rights today. when humans where still cavemen and we lived off of instincts we knew that women were crazy and we'd leave them home to sit on their asses and eat bon-bons while the men went and hunted food. now that we are soo "non-primative" we think that women should have thse wierd rights. that is one of the things that lead this country to a downfall. now women have the upper-hand and they dont know how to control it since their ancestors where just house wifes and food cooking cavewomen. i know what i just said was prolly the last thing a girl would want to hear but i had to get it out and since i know none of you it doesnt matter.

I hate how stereotypical most women are towards men. Not all of them are, and to those who aren't, I thank you. But, it seems that every women I know says that all (ALL) men only think with their cocks and that they are all dogs. This really pisses me off because when I try to turn it around and say something like that about women, they get fucking pissed as hell at me and start attacking. It's funny, yet at the same time very confusing and annoying. Not all women are like this, but so very very many are.
Oh, and then they will always turn things around to make it your fault, and all you can do is stutter and look completely fucking confused as to how the hell they did it. It sucks.
And another thing. No matter how mush pain a man goes through, even if he is being gutted alive, crusified, burned, having battery acid poured all over him, a women will almost always come along and say "Hah, try squeezing something the size of a water melon out of a hole the size of a quarter (or in some womens' case, a softball)". Always, that is the one they use. Honestly man, If I had the choice between being burned with boiling water (I have gone through this, fucking the most painful thing I can think of having happened in my life, yet), or being a women for a day and giving birth to a child, I would choose choice #2 any day.
They think they hjave to endure so much more pain in giving birth than men do in their entire life, but the truth is that women are designed by mother nature herself to give birth through that small (or large) hole.
Ahh, I am done bitching because I know that it is women who posess the tits in this world, without em I would be lost. :)

it is plain and simple what the problem is!!! they dont get along in this "society". back when we were smarter then we are now (caveman days) our instincts told us this that we should pick a women to mate with, and then mate, and then give them and the child food untill they died. after they gave birth they were useless!! that is the reason women use this "try giving birth" crap so often (especially mothers) it is becuase there instincts tell them that is all there good for. men were good for hunting food, building things, and making a society. the women never did this!! even in the most recent days when women were only house wives and the men got a job and supported the family. then we had to fuck up and start making blacks slaves, and then we tried to fix the problem by fighting a war to end slavery, and once the blacks got their rights the women got this crazy idea to do the same! if we wouldve known what would happen we wouldve purposely lost the war and let those blacks be slaves. women cant be docters!! theyre supposed to take care of the young. fuck!!! its all clear to me know, women are the problem in our society, untill they can learn to handle this "mans world" they are a pain!! if only they werent so hot!!!!! damn instincts!!

I think one of the single most problematic segments of the female population is the "shallow bitch segment." I'm sure the huge blotted stain on the fabric of femininity is caused by these sheeple (my favourite term for the apathetic masses). It's a definite link with stupidity and lack of individuality, the two usual criteria for being popular. It is absolutely hilarious, and yet at the same time tragically unfair, at how hypocritical these people can be, not know it, and get away with it through a) strength of numbers and b) a conscious effort to block out things they don't want to hear, such as WHY you did the thing which pissed them off in the first place. I'm serious, you women band together, I'll give you all Steyr USRs, you can shoot these sheeple. BAM, image boost. BAM, instant increase in respect. BAM, instant bottoming out of the pop music market (YES!).
Of the other cause of the stereotypical male's low opinion of women, it's GOT to be those 'women's magazines' you see in supermarkets. I, for one, am mystified at how women can read magazines with entire sections on "how to wantonly please your man sexually until you have entirely drained him of ejaculate fluids and he actually wants to stop having sex" and yet, I am still a virgin. :). Also, women's magazines about soap operas and famous movie stars (helpful for the "I want to marry someone well-known rich and powerful" thing) do not convey an air of intellectuality, to put it mildly.
By men with an education, what do you mean? Intelligent men, or men with a degree so that they can get a good job? (Just for the record, I've been "officially declared" intellectually gifted. I was IQ tested in grade 2 and scored 150, and I scored a 165 on a more recent test. I also bear an uncanny resemblence to nobody particulalry famous).
I have a question... there are some women who, when I have a cold for example and I snort to avoid liquid mucous running out of my nose, will say things like, "Ewww, that's disgusting." I just want to know.. how can someone who has, let's say much much more severe leakage problems than that on a rather regular basis, possibly be disgusted by a sniffle? I mean, what the fuck? That's the one thing I don't get AT FUCKING ALL. We all shit, we all piss, every fucking day. And yet it's disgusting to do something that's reflexive that you don't have to go to the bathroom for? It's a SOUND. It's not a SMELL. The day people stop shitting, pissing, excreting mucous, and having their menstrual flow, they can criticise me for having the sniffles.

If women are such a problem, then just don't care about them. I agree to some degree with aluminum_can. The women's rights shit is out of hand. In their rights movement, they want to completely deny femininity for all its been built up to be from the time we could tell that they were women up until the time they started trying to fight for "rights". I wouldn't say that all women are the same- ever. To say that is mean, because you don't acknowledge that people are people and people are different. Even though you probably don't even believe it entirely, a person who heard it from a person who heard or read you saying it might think that all men think that. Who knows? For me, its best to just not give a rat's ass about anyone, let the special people shine through and then forget about them, too. People that say they can't for the life of them understand a situation, you don't really mean that, right? Here is something I don't understand... All my life I think I'm an ugly mess (I still feel the same way, except confused) and now I find out that I "have a really good look" and should be a model.. why the fuck haven't there been more women interested in me? I don't mind the fact that they haven't, but if they had, I wouldn't be confused now. I, for the life of me, can't understand that completely.

i just found out that i am a hot ass son of a bitch also!! it never occured to me, until junior high when girls were "flirting" with me, but i was alot more mature then kids back then so i though they were just being "dumb little girls" playing "dumb little games" when they would do little flirty things i would turn around and say something like why dont you go fuck with someone else. or something snotty. i never hd the slightest clue that they were flirting. hell, i though i was a dumb loser that they were trying to talk shit on, when actually they were confused because they were being "nice" and i was being an ass. i eventually learned this the hard way (leave it at that). stupid little junior high girls!!! if they wouldve grown up a little earlier then maybe they wouldve had a chance with me. they were too busy off in dream land, and avioding the facts. i pittied them.

i meant i just found out that im supposedly good-looking. i still have no idea what flirting is.. in 11th grade i was in love with this girl and she was trying to get me to tell her by taking advantage of situations. (im still in love with the memory of her)she gave me her phone number, she would be looking at me in class everytime i looked at her, she would run her hands through my hair ever so often,,,, i am STILL not sure what this was about!!!! anyone? it could easily be either way, but she could just be really cruel and have been playing with my heart or trying to do a charitable deed. i was really fat at the time.

I don't want to ruin your dream, but I think she was fucking with you. I know birds who have done the same, it seem a pretty common trick. Don't worry though, it wasn't anything against you, it was about her.
Usually it's really insecure girls who do this because the attention makes them feel attractive and more secure (Which is really important to many girls). They usually pick a guy who doesn't get much interest from girls (Sorry if I'm presuming here, this is only because you said you were fat), and will give him loads of attention in an 'I'm intersted' type way. If the guy hasn't had much experience with other girls, chances are he will fall in love with them pretty quickly. Once this happens, they have you where they want you.
They don't let anything happen between you, but do enough keep you interested (Hair stroking, sly looks etc), they can then use this to convince themselves that they are attractive and wanted, and that gives them a big confidence boost (Especially if she could get you to tell her). The reason they don't let anything happen is that they are scared that if they get too close to you, you'll realise they are not actually anything special and leave them. If that happened, and they got dumped by a fattie, that would mean they must be really unattractive, and their confidence will drop even further.
Sorry, I don't mean to psycho-analyse your situation. I'm just basing this on my experiences. If you think this could be what was going on then don't dislike the girl for it. This all happens on a subconscious level, and they don't even realise they are doing it.
Most girls really aren't that difficult to work out if you actually sit and think about it. Having said that though, some of them are absoloute nut-bars... I blame TV.
