if she takes shrooms while pregnant then she is a horrible person that deserves to be thrown in prison and beaten. don't fuck w/ drugs while pregnant...i didn't think that even needed to be said, i thought it would be a normal thought in a correctly functioning mind.

i dont think its a good idea if girls do drugs while pregnant. but this is my opinion, and im perfectly comfortable with everyone having their own opinions.

the quote in your sig is contradictory in my opinion, how can u possibly do what you desire, if (like the quote says) you CANT do what you desire. it should say "dont do what you desire, and that includes hurting yourself or others"

I know that I don't have much senority here, but your friends are truely fuckwads. Plain and simple. I hope that karma gets them for this!

Apparently my mother tripped at a couple concerts when I was swimmin around in her womb. Shrooms, acid, and the occaisional pot smoking. She didn't do anything but smoke weed once she found out that she was knocked up. That's good. No drinking either, and she had already quit smoking cigarettes about the same time she got knocked up.
I don't have any disabilities or anything, but I was born at 6lbs which is pretty scary. My mom was anorexic(Around 60lbs before she gained weight) to top it all off.
Childhood was a little strange, but I made it. I had depression for a while, but I suppose that and my shitty parents are what saved me. I think that I'm a pretty wonderful person. :smile:

I don't think that it's fair for you two to associate yourselves with those people. Sit them down and set their asses strait, then never talk to them again. I don't know much about you, but you sound like decent people and you're too good to associate yourselves with them.

I tried to say something to the bf...but he got way to defensive way to fast so i just left the room. I really dont know what to say, just cause of the possibility that the baby won't live..which makes the subject even more sensitive. I tried to tell her that she should totally clean up her act because of the birth defect...but she chose to eat an 1/8 of mushrooms instead. What can i do?

That's pretty rough to hear. You'd think they'd be chill and just hold off for three months. It's not a long time at all. It would be a great reason to abstain from drugs, atleast their tolerences would go down. Oh, and let's not forget about their unborn child. Silly me. :noway:

When I was way younger, I did some drugs before I found out I was pregnant. The child still came out okay. But I wouldn't fuck with doing drugs and taking my chances. Doesn't seem fair to the kid.

I'm not sure if any one of you see this from a different perspective.

Do any of you remember (if youve experienced it) ego loss?  Can you imagine a baby peaking with the mother?  I cant even imagine what that baby would be thinking.  Wouldnt it be freaky if it became a bit 'too' self aware?    It's a scary thought.
What about the mother?  Looking down on her belly, realizing there is a little human inside her.  Wow.  Talk about upredictibly intense.

I'm not sure if the drugs would 'hurt' the baby in any way, but its hard to say what a mother might do freaked out on drugs.  I personaly got pretty banged up my first time on ego loss.

And you never know what might happen if the baby kicked, and the mother has just watched Species II the night before........

thats why i figured she must of freaked uot, but she didn't. I guess they watched finding nemo...i thought the two together might make her start thinking. But i guess she wouldn't watch shallow hal because the girls fat and she's big.
I would think if shallow hal made her feel bad then finding nemo would make her feel 10x worse.

One of my friends got his old lady pregnant. Now the kid has already had 3 surgeries because of it. Doing drugs while your pregnant IS NOT a good idea.

ive seen women miscary twice the morning after eating shrooms. both times they diddnt realize they were pregnant, and both times they were a few months into it.
one was not able to carry to term due to previous infection anyway, but the fact that both experienced extreme nausea and spontaneous labour before the mushrooms wore off leads me to beleive it was a major contributing factor.
youreally cant KNOW youre pregnant, particularly if youre continuing to menstruate or using forms of contraception (both of these cases were such) or are normally having irregular cycles.
but the guilt a woman feels is still potent. women blame themselves and feel irrationally guilty, no matter how smart they are, its against their will.plus theres the humiliation and pain of the surgery involved with having your uterus scraped with cold steel but rough hands from doctors who lecture you about being irresponsible.
what can be said? given this information i would say it is most definately dangerous to consume any psychadellic while carrying, particularl if you are aware of the pregnancy.
some plants, suck as henbane or mandrake were used as a natural abortion medicine in the past, they also cause hallucinations, but more of a deleriym.
there are majour physical symptoms with consuming shrooms, like it or not, its blasting your body, your body retaliates by trying to clense itself. you pee alot, some people vomit, some sweat profusely or feel like they just gotta get something out of themselves or die.
it stands to reason a body would also abort a growing fetus.
so yah, basically, in my expereince, shrooms = unexceptably high abortion rate, occurring most likely imidiately.

don't do them if your pregnant, and the same goes for other psychadellics.

alcohol leads to serious brain and developmental retardation, (FAS/E)

ciggarettes have been linked to premature birth and stunted fetal development.

and any narcotics you take, the baby takes, addiction follows, and a stunted, ill, mentally challanged baby isnt going to need withdraw symptoms to fight through for its first few weeks either.

parents who deliver a child addicted to heroin should be secretly sterilized by the obstertrician before being discharged, its not like they would ever know. they should also go to jail and be made to detox on a cold dry steel floor, naked, with stobe lights and phonic feedback being played at high decibels interrupted by occasional scraping chalkboard sounds in a rotating room, perfectly cubic, 4X4X6 feet for about a week with walls and celing made from silvered mirrior. man, when they come out they would be a shitsmeared mess. good. because thats the type of fate they have given their children. at least the parent is lucky enough to know what health tastes like, and how it feels to be able to choose.

i don't think god could punish someone better.

well...on the bright side at least she isnt doing heroin or cocaine. but still taking drugs while pregnant is very irresponsible.... i would never let my wife/gf take drugs if she was pregnant with my baby... maybe a little pot now and then, but not alot cause smoking is really bad for the fetus too
