Im realy for anyone beliving on their own theories but i hate when this sentance is used to stop my sarcasm parade on Creationists. Mainly because anyone can say the Big Bang was just a huge fart Satan blew and we live in the little stink molecules, and that statement would defend my belief. So does that mean no one would have the right to make fun of anyone's beliefs? No. Let me have my fun!

I'm not concerned with the origins of life strictly on this planet..

I believe that life either "happened" here on Earth as it does anywhere else (WHICH IS THE BIG MYSTERY.. how does life HAPPEN ANYWHERE?!), somehow sparking into action, or it simply came from somewhere else that already had it.. my question is, how'd it START.. like not just here on Earth, but how'd life start here in the universe?

it seems the pre-requisite for something to be categorised as 'living' is the presence of dna in its cells.

no dna = no life? i'm no scientist but does this seem right?
so what is the origin of dna?
almost everybody who works with dna describes it as a code or a language or a wetware program. its hard to accept that something of such complexity formed as a result of rocks getting boiled.
where does language originate? from mind.
its nice how almost every creation myth involves speaking of some sort. what is speaking? transforming thoughts into the physical realm encoded in language. we use the medium of soundwaves, others may not be so limited.
