It's hard to eat a lot of shrooms...especially if you wanna take more than 3 grams in one gulp.

Regardless of whether lemon helps dephosphorilize psilocybin, I can take 4 g shroom solution in one gulp, for an insanely trippy experience.

IMO, I feel it get strong faster on the come up. I like the lemon tek. Less gag if you have a lot to munch on

I can still recall the taste if you don't powder the shrooms.. Yuck .that is indicative of gagging lol. Powder em first, you don't wanna chew on lemon concentrated shrooms:yesnod:

Hey guys, been lurking for a while but here's my first post. Tried this method a few days ago:

My usual dose is 5g, so I decided to use that dose for best comparison. I powdered 5g of an unknown strain in a coffee grinder. Although I'm not exactly sure which strain it was, I had consumed 5g of the same batch two weeks prior, so I at least have some basis for comparison. Chewing 5g normally, it usually hits within 30 min and lasts for about 4-5 hours, but with lingering effects for another hour or two, and usually impossible to fall asleep for probably 4-5 after tripping. When chewing 5g of this same batch normally before, I'd rate it as a level 3 trip or so, and got really sick - nausea, vomit, etc. That said, it wasn't exactly on an empty stomach so I was extra careful with this time with the lemon tek and fasted all day 8 hours before so my stomach was empty.

Anyway, I first made one shot of 2.5g and the juice of 1 and a half lemons. Let sit for a little over 10 min, stirring every few min. It smelled a little nasty, so before I drank the shot, I added a splash of orange juice to make the taste better. Turned out to not taste bad at all, went down easy. Curious to see when this 2.5g would hit, I waited for a while before shooting the second half. Started to see mild visual distortions around half an hour later, not 10-15 like I'd read on this thread. So at this point I shot the second 2.5g the exact same way as the first. Started to come on pretty strong about 45-60 min later.

The trip lasted about 3 and a half hours with the lemon. No nausea, which was really nice (I usually have a pretty weak stomach). I'd rate it as a level 3 - probably no more or less intense than the last 5g I'd eaten normally from this batch. Great visuals (most of the time was in a totally dark closet for sensory deprivation), listened to music, but no ego loss or any revelations. Good time though. Fast comedown. About 4 hours after consumption, I felt really exhausted, tired, and fell asleep not too long after. Honestly, I was expecting a little bit more from the lemon tek, but what I did really like was that this trip felt relatively "cleaner," if that makes any sense. No nausea, I felt a little more functional and active than normal, stayed at decent comfort level, and was able to get some good rest easily afterwards.

Worth trying again, I'd say. Although I was expecting something more, I had a nice trip and can't complain.

Just gulped down 3 grams powdered soaked in lemon juice for 30 minutes. Normally 3 grams will barely give me a body high, hope this works.

If 3 grams barely gets you a body high you need better shrooms.  Or you take crazy doses

My shrooms are fine, all my friends trip hard off of an eighth or less from them...I just have a natural tolerance or something. 3 grams using this tek last night was pretty intense, but for only about an hour.

The less you partake in psychedelic experiences, the more memorable and unique each experience is, IME. Save big doses for special nights, at least bi-monthly. Micro dosing in between can still get your mind stimulated without too much visual distortion.:aweoverdose:

it's possible because i'm like that. i've always had to dose high with shrooms. lemon tek helps a lot. i love it!

I never even think of consuming shrooms with any other method now, Lemon-Tek is most certainly THE way to eat shrooms ^^

I never take more than 2 grams using lemon tek.  I've had some unbelievably strong trips using this method with around 1.5 grams.

I plan on dosing just over a gram tonight, gonna be my first trip in almost 2 years.  Will report back

I have tried lemon tec 3 times, freezing the mix does work but the effects are a lot lower, I put 2.5 grams of finely diced dry Cubensis into the juice of I full lemon then put it in the frezer, the pieces floau so after aboy an hour I added the juice of another lmon so all the pieces were suspended and not exposed to air, 3 weeks later when I was able to partake I thawesd the mix by placing into the sink filled with water and smashed it down fast. After about a half hour the effects started but I felt it was weaker then the 1.5 grams I ate via unfrozen Lemon tec that I consumed the month previously (from same flush)the effects lasted for approx 4 hours and taperd off very quickly. I will not be freezing them again. The thought of freezing them did appeal to me as I can feel safe knowing they will not grow any mould this way but unless you use a lot more shrooms in the liquid it is not worth it. I will post next the lemon tec log I recorded in the next post.

Ok so here is the log I created on my own Lemon tec experiment (For scientific reasons only).

I blended 1.52grams of Cubensis with the juice of one fresh lemon picked an hour before.
I put this solution in a glass and had to rinse the blender out with the juice of another lemon to get all of the material out and consumed this exactly 15 minutes later. (in the blender material was thrown all over the inside walls of the blender)
4.25 Consumed solution
4.45 Awareness of euphoria, feeling good.
4.55 Slight visuals, very strong euphoria.
5.10 Intense, similar to a decent LSD trip, decided to sculpture soapstone, sanding felt too violent had to stop and do something else. Decided to watch some comedy, too many conflicting emotions watching I.T crowd.
5.55 Peaking very strongly, playing some guitar, fingers seem like rubber but am enjoying the vibrations.
8.18 peak is tapering off, still feeling good but have moved past the plateau.
8.55 feel similar to the way I would if I had taken a half trip of LSD
9.48 Mild effects, slight euphoria.
10.48 I am going to sleep.

The thing I have found with Cubensis, is that to me they feel much cleaner to LSD and I can sleep reasonably well after usually with very vivid dreams, where after LSD sleep is a nasty bitch who wont play the game.
I am making some more cakes today and will inoculate this afternoon, I will try some fresh with one of the flushes and I will also try some with out the lemon tec and document the experience. I have never tried these fresh or without lemon tec before so this will be interesting for me being a long time LSD tripper and a new shroom tripper, cacti and next in my sights...

I saw this post a while ago and decided to try it out for myself. I've tripped several times in the past, never more than 3.5g.

I had a bunch of dried cubes and in the bag there will of course be a bunch of shake at the bottom, so I figured I'd give the lemon tek a go since I already have powder. I poured some lemon juice I bought (not fresh squeezed lemons) into a Gatorade bottle, about a shot amount. Then added the powder I had, about a gram, maybe a little more. I let is sit for about 45 min shaking the nuts out of it every few mins. Then after the 45m were up I added some sugar and water to make it taste like lemonade. It actually tasted pretty good, and I had no trouble drinking it.

About 20 minutes in I was in a happy, giggly mood. 45m in I had some nice visuals, wavy, colorful, happy vision. 1h in I was tripping nicely, and was surprised I can get this good feeling off what would otherwise be almost useless to me. The trip lasted about 4-5 h, but it was a really nice trip.

I only did a gram, but it felt like almost 3 but for a much shorter time. I would def recommend trying his method out, but like everyone said, do it with coution. Maybe you don't have as many shrooms, or don't have a whole day to trip, save what you have and trip for only a few hours.

So I tried the lemon tek last night. I used fresh Orange Juice, powdered 3.5g and let them sit together for about 25 mins. Then I added a little blueberry lemonade to fill the small mug so it wasn't just a shot. Tasted quite pleasant.

Before I go on I should point out that last week I used the same amount but chewed them as per usual, had a pretty average build up and last. I threw up my mushrooms at about 30-60 mins in. (I always throw up my mushrooms) Even with tossing them I had an excellent level 3 trip for about 4-5 (short from vomiting i'm sure) hours. All in all it was pleasant.

Back to last night, I popped in some headphones and let Bob Marley guide me into my trip after drinking my mug of acidic goodness. As most reports have suggested, It took about 10-20 mins to feel something opposed to an hour. On top of that it feels like your jumping out of an airplane to skydive full into your experience rather then the usual build up that can be all over up and down and harsh on your body.

After I made it through the first 20 minute wait I could barely contain myself, I was full throttle peaking into a level 5 trip. I couldn't open my eyes and what I saw on the other side of my eyelids was a myriad of different shapes colors sizes and even shadows of some sort of humanoid beings. A trip I have never once experienced off of just eating mushrooms.

About 20-30 minutes of peaking, my body started to tremor from the nausea (Like I said I always throw up) and eventually I threw up all of the concoction. It tasted quite pleasant actually. Like a warm orange cream slush going out instead of in. After about 5-10 minutes of purging my peak went from a level 5 to a nice plateau of level 3, but still stronger then last weeks level 3. Intense kaleidoscope imagery, a feeling of being stuck, time being meaningless, etc.

It lasted only 3 hours or so, most likely due to my pathetic stomach. Visuals were like nothing I have ever experienced before AND after getting sick, they completely immersed me into them, all in all one fast powerful roller coaster ride instead of a more relaxed bike ride into your trip, but just as rewarding in terms of entertainment.

TL;DR
Lemon tek = Roller Coaster > Plain eating = Bike Ride

Started reading this thread and decided to contribute my experience and maybe read more later.  This was my first time with both shrooms and MDMA.  3.5 g's of shrooms and 113mg of MDMA, because that dose was recommended, and I'd had a few 250ug acid trips under my belt and I felt I wanted to feel the full magical mushroom experience.

I lightly ground the shrooms in a coffee grinder and covered the small chunks in lemon juice.  In my experience, use as little lemon juice as possible.  Any of the times I've thrown up from lemon tekking I had added an excessive amount of lemon juice to the concoction.  I don't dose like that anymore purely because it tastes like garbage and I'd rather take it like a shot. 

Anyway, I usually let the cocktail sit for 10-15 minutes to let the process take place.  From what I am aware, the lemon juice converts the psilocybin into psilocin, the process that your stomach has to do to raw shrooms, and this is why it kicks in faster.  It is also why the trip is shorter, but generally intense throughout with a much shorter comedown.

I'll probably flush out a full trip report later once my final projects are mostly done, been meaning to write a few down.

I think the reason lemon tek hits you harder and faster is because you are grinding the shrooms into very small chunks or even powder, causing a greater surface area for absorption in your stomach. 

Just try grinding up mushrooms and downing it with only water, you should have a similar experience to lemon tek

I once had eaten the last of my shrooms at the time and it wieghed out to be 1.7g, did the lemon tek and it felt like it doubled the strength. It felt like i was taking 3gs.
