I read somewhere that the overheating in S2 is actually pretty common. And there was this one case in Switzerland or Austria(?), where this chick had a S3 in her pocket, it exploded&caused some serious burns.

Lumia 1020 is the next phone I'm getting.. I've had two samsung/android phones, and that's enough for me.

Before these two samsungs, I've only had Nokia phones. No problems whatsoever with them

I've had android phones, then went to WP with a Samsung Focus.I have a Nokia lumia 900 now that works wonderfully. The hard plastic structure has survived many drops onto concrete without any damage.
If you're going from android to WP you'll have to get adjusted to the compact structure of the apps. A lot of apps will do multiple things.

I'm already pretty familiar with WP, so no problem there
