Well, whatever the issues were when the IRC server was hosted ON a Webserver (god only knows why someone would do that...) they're gone now, since the IRC has moved to an actual IRC server. 

There has not been any site related issues since the IRC moved, and a vast majority of chatters moved with it.  I think having the IRC chat on a server set up for IRC, (whether hosted by shroomery or not) is what's going to keep the site from having any issues. Plus the regular chatters who weren't an issue can still communicate and enjoy the chat.

I was commenting on the use of the terms melting and raging in general on this forum and how they're often used to discredit someone the accuser disagrees with who is usually responding in a way that is proportional to how the accuser is acting. You're siting here baiting people about how you're so happy that chat is gone and you don't expect responses like the ones you're getting? Anyway, I didn't mean to comment on the specific instance of ShroomDoom's rating of you that you called melting, because I didn't see it. I'm just saying that you're acting immature in this thread so expect to get back what you're putting out.

How am I being biased? You said every chat mod is flaming. I've seen continuous flaming from one previous chat mod, which I have disagreed with and spoken out against, unless I'm forgetting another instance in this huge thread [which is entirely possible].

You never had access to gremlins on the IRC chat anyway.  They were only available on the very shortlived PHP chat that was just deleted.  Quit being silly.

*edit* I don't give a fuck which one of you said that, since ythan never decided to implement a removal of other tags and bullshit in the threads when replying to an overlynested thread.  So whichever one of you said it, don't give a fuck. :p

Nor am I going to attempt to fix the fucked up format.

That's their problem for listening to people without @'s.

I've seen people who are noobs give some serious shit advice and seen other people take it in without question.  I've seen it happen in the cultivation forums too.

That's crazy I experienced the exact opposite.
It's the same as the forum just quicker u can get a noob running his mouth if I know what the little trusted cultivator symbol is ur good.
U get the same advice on the forum n the IRC but I don't listen to every fuck wad with an Internet connection.

Only difference is the get info quick n noobs get shut up quick

Either way I say the pros of the cultivation chat out weigh any duchers being duchers and they will do that on the forum.

The trolls and UTSF jerks on the cultivation board are a big part of why I was drawn to the chat.  In the cultivation room it was easy for new members to get the help they needed, and new ideas could be discussed without trolls and flaming (the vast majority of the time).  It was also a very convenient method for me and others to help the users who came to the Shroomery after seeing mine and RR's videos on Youtube.

What pisses me off isn't that it was taken away, it's that there was no effort on the part of administration to get it on track.
