Being open to all possibilities why enter a debate forum? To go subject to subject and proclaim a lack of opinion?

I'm not open to any possibility that isn't based on substantial evidence, and observation.
Replace 10th dimension with "space unicorns" and you'll have a reasonable glimpse at the absurdity of your statement.

As for arrogance, I suppose that's a matter of perception. I don't really care either way, as it's entirely irrelevant and means nothing in the scope of your argument.

The 10th dimension does have substantial evidence. It's still a theory, yes. But, so is the Big Bang.

There's nowhere to go with people like you. You will ALWAYS believe you're right because you think that your five senses are the end all be all.

On what basis would you think otherwise?
I have a hard time understanding this mentality that we should all be on board with "open-mindedness" when that amounts to "believe what I do, or you're a shallow arrogant (adjective noun ad nauseam).

Folks with similar ideas come here all the time, refuse to substantiate any wild ideas they have, and get irritated if not outrighted offended when they are met with perfectly logical skepticism. If you are unprepared to defend your position with empirical evidence, do not act surprised when it is shot down, discredited, criticised, and maybe even ridiculed.
I cannot understand what is so difficult about accepting this skeptical reaction as a perfectly normal reaction and not some deeply personal insult against those presenting an idea.

No other basis. I don't believe in god, svs. But, I don't NOT believe in god either. I don't know how things started, I can't claim to know. Nobody can. We can only work off of our five senses, but again, the senses are imperfect. How can you know everything, how can you know where it all began and why it's all happening with imperfect senses?

I've confronted the original point several times, but it's just not acceptable to you. Then again, it shouldn't be because we are coming from two different, albeit similar, viewpoints. I just claim to not know, while you instead claim to know. Like most pompous atheist assholes.

Actually I find it kind of refreshing to hear someone say they aren't sure of things here. Most people are so fucking sure they know something that it makes me want to puke sometimes.  On issues like reincarnation it makes perfect sense to be uncertain.  Some things just don't have enough evidence for any certainty.  None of the really big issues.  Why we live, why we die, what is death,  what it all means.

When I die, the universe will remain and continue its course. That makes reality objective, it exists with or without me.

All the various opinions in life do not prove subjectivity, they prove objectivity. If 5 people take a guess at the identity of an object in a box none can see, their differing answers does not mean they're all right - it means any answer differing from the correct answer is wrong. No matter your opinions, reality persists.

If we look for a wave we see a wave, if we look for a particle we see a particle, if you cut off your hand it won't grow back however you look at it.

Another example: you have two mushrooms - a shittake and a cube, taking the shittake thinking it to be the cube will not produce a trip.

Someone looks at this picture and thinks she has four arms, in their head she has 4 arms. In reality she has 2.

Nothing can be considered objective until you're first conscious of it.
What you may deem as an objective truth can be considered a subjective delusion by others.
Time eventually tells.

Why is that? If none of us existed, and the universe remained the same (as it was before we existed) how is its existence troubled by our lack of consciousness of it? Its not a question of a tree in the woods making a sound, the universe as far as we know was here before us.

What is the reasoning behind subjectivity as applied to life? I've heard reasons before, I disagree with those models, but for the sake of communication can someone make an argument for subjectivity rather than statements coming from the assumption that life is subjective.

From what we can observe, the universe existed before humanity and has its own qualities seperate from our opinions ~ (see examples in OP). People are saying that all life is subjective to perception. Where is the justification for such an idea?

Agnostic

As far as being secular I'm not, I have beliefs in an afterlife. Those beliefs come from personal experiences which preclude my doing drugs, practicing meditation, or toilet training. I view religion as a hinderance to the individual pursuit of searching

We don't know that though, so even though we think we know, it's still very subjective.

There's too much going on to be completely objective.
Subjectivity is the beginning of objectivity.
