Well, I would ask, what is the nature of any questioning? What is nature? What is questioning? What is this? What is What? What is is? What is of?

just getting out of habitual tendency and breaking with all that bulky mental stuff - becoming swift as harry on his nimbus 2000 is great
how far am I from the center now?
where is my essence
we all have it - we all have a lot of stuff - we are all confused - we all cling a bit to more to even more - ugly - beautifyl - dark - light - something -

not to be an ass but why would you think you can go astray, arent we always a bit astray or lost.. etc.

disappoint.

I don't know about neurosis. I don't think one ought to be ashamed of their thinking. Shame would lead one further from examining it and questioning it, I would think.

i think sometimes the solution to neurotic thinking or shame is finding mutual understanding and trust in other people. different people may need different approaches.

I don't know about better.

Yeah I don't know about being astray.

"disappoint."

?

"i think sometimes the solution to neurotic thinking or shame is finding mutual understanding and trust in other people. different people may need different approaches."

How would such a thing solve the "neurotic thinking"? What is neurotic thinking exactly?

I meant disappoint like in the meme. I was trying to say I wasn't satisfied with your response.

Neurotic thinking may be something caused by a lack of love in ones life and is related to low self esteem and the feeling like you are always being judged. Not anything in particular but might be something like 'everyone is out to get me' or 'I suck'. It might be expressed through eating disorders or gambling addiction etc and leads to low life quality

Finding people you can trust and feel connected to can give you strength to overcome this morbid self focus.

I hope that makes some sense

I didn't really intend to satisfy. I was just answering your question as best I could. You'd have to ask those questions for yourself to see what I intended, otherwise it probably just looked like "Frock's diatribe" or something like that.

How much love does a person need? And also, I don't think the drive for such thinking must come from fear. It can come from curiosity. Or perhaps both.

"Finding people you can trust and feel connected to can give you strength to overcome this morbid self focus."

Why be connected? Is this not merely a distraction? What's morbid about self focus?

this much... idk but people do need love. especially children. and yeh i agree it can come from curiosity i was just pointing out there are other reasons.

distraction from what? IMO it is as important to a healthy life as food and water, at least for some people anyway. imo everyone needs it to some degree.

self focus in itself is not morbid, like with eating when done in excess it can become morbid... which isnt necessarily bad really but can be if you have a low opinion of yourself.
