i have thought about it. psychedelics aren't worth ruining my mental health. i'll stick to pot and alcohol. if i become a schizo from those, then screw it i dont care because i like those.

and why is there an age limit here? all we are doing is talking about stuff, not actually doing them. giving information isn't illegal. actually doing these things is illegal for people both over and under 18. i dont see why age matters.

crazycan, it is only detrimental for people whos brains have not finished evolving to a stable state (physically :P). It is believed to stunt growth in nerves in the brain that are vital to the Elopicosal (related to immune system) that are not finished developing yet.

However (from my own experience), being 19 and everything,soon after doing Salvia, my tolerance to other drugs has dropped off (such as alcohole --- not such a bad thing---) signifigantly and I often feel more 'cold'.... However, that could be due to other factors, that I'm not aware of, and therefor totally unsubstantiated in relation to Salvia.

I wouldn't do ecstacy, it puts holes in your brain. If you feel it's worth losing a good amount of brain cells every time you drop then by all means...
As for your questions on weed, I have no history of mental illness in my family but I get the same thoughts running through my head! I sometimes get way paranoid, thinking a cop's going to come rolling by any minute or I heard a noise and think it's something, etc. I talk to myself in my head, kinda funny really cause I have a rational conscious and a high conscious battling it out. "Was that a cop?!" "No, just a car..." "But what if it is?! Oh shit, we need to bail!" "Ease up! You're high..." :stoned:

IMHO xtc is one of the most addicting (psychological) substances out there. It is not a typical addiction, it is more a subtle one. The problem is not that you would be everyday on e, but soon you will find yourself in a situation where it is impossible to fully enjoy a party without some pills.

Of course that will not be the case with anyone, i used it myself sometimes for several years and only in moderate doses and not every weekend. But MANY of my friends where going to take e in quantities that they never thought of when they first took the drug, and they CANNOT enjoy any weekend without it.

Just be carefull, you are very young. Maybe you think you are strong enough to control yourself, but trust me, you will most likely not be able to measure yourself as you think you are. Wait 2 years, maybe even 4 or 5 years, and you are on the safe site.

I saw too many guys starting like you and ending up fucked up. Sorry if i might sound like your dad. Just be carefull.

I think that schizo can actually be treated with mushrooms.. You become to know how your mind exactly works, and know that the voices come from within yourself...
Just my thoughts..

Oh I was 16 when I ate mushrooms for the first time, now I'm just 18 and did em like 12 times now I think.
I feel like I am really old enough for them.. maybe I have become more adult BECAUSE of them!

I researched more and now see conflicting arguments, so I retract my statement above, though I still won't try it myself. I've just seen physical changes happen to people I know that abused ecstacy and they seem more dazed and out of it. Anyways, carry on! :sun:

i asked whether i should try ecstacy because my father is a schizophrenic, not whether or not its safe. i wanna know if using X might trigger psychosis like a hallucinogen might.

No. X doesn't have any significant potential to trigger psychosis the way LSD or mushrooms do; no more than weed anyway. It's effects are nothing like the psychedelics.

Look everybody,a few times it is ok.I mean if you take shrooms once a month or even less frequently and not make quick decisions like:I will take 10g dried for my 2nd time on shrooms you're gonna be just fine.If you make a habbit of it then some things may change.It's all a matter of self-control.Sitting in front of the tv watching big brother all day harms you more than mushrooms,it neutralizes your brain but then again if that is what makes you happy why not.You question does not have an impartial answer.The matter is clearly subjective.Enjoy your life.Have fun.Skydive do shrooms anything that makes you happy.I f you try shrooms and like them better than pot eat shrooms or if the opposite, smoke pot.The bottom line is : H A V E F U N !!!!!!!!!!
