This is what I use. I set it to turn on at 90% it raises to about 95 after turning my humidifier off, but I use an ultrasonic. It works very well for me and it is only $30. I paid 50 for mine and had to wait 2 weeks to get mine from china...

Why not just get a separate thermostat for the temp.  And hell ya!  So glad I posted this.  Shroomsisay.......that info on that humidistat is awesome.  Apparently the differential factor is key so I'm glad I didn't rush into buying the zoomed hyrgother

I searched high and low for a hygrotherm like device that was cheaper, but the hygrotherm was the cheapest humidistat I could find.. I wish I would have seen this before! But I use the heater part of hygrotherm as well so I'd be SOL there. Plus I got a great deal on mine, I received a $20 amazon card for my bday and if you join amazon prime you get $10 off your first purchase and overnight shipping for 2.99. It came out to be a penny under $28. For thirty bucks I kinda want to get this to try it out. Although with the hygro therm I achieve differentials by putting it on a timer to completely shut off. Still want one though

Y not just use a separate thermostat?
But he'll ya!  I'm so glad I posted this!  Apparently the differential factor is key.  At 30 bux too, even if I have to spend another 30 for separate thermostat I'm glad I didn't rush in to getting the zoo med hygrotherm.  As cool and doable as it is, I figure ill go this route instead just for the differential factor.  Thanks shroomisay!  5 for u!

I just finished the paper towel test and after 1 hour in the paper towel the humidity controller read 99%, so it is accurate because if it would have hit 100%  the controller just reads HH. I love this thing but I am actually surprised as to how accurate it is.

Here is the picture of the humidity controller i promised...

OK.. I am a beginner (too old to be a noob).

I assume that this humidty controller will only monitor heat and humidity?

You them need to hookup a humidifier to it??? Then when the humdity drops it kicks on the fogger???

Also; is it the same for the tempeture? Will it turn on a heating device to maintain the programmed level?

If my assumptions are correct them how does a fogger and/or heating device connect to the controller?

Your assumptions are correct. There are separate outlet style plugs for both the temperature and the humidity

So, you just plug a cool mist humidifier into the unit itself?  Could you possibly post a picture of said outlets?  Everything I've looked at online does not show the outlets and I was beginning to think humidifier had to be hard wired to it.
