My finds yesterday.. Bellvue/Redmond area

Well I saw mj's post about how he found those blue ringers on queen ann hill just a couple days ago, and that gave me my motivation to go scavenge some local appartments/parks with watered lawnz. I also drove all the way to queen ann hill and walked around for about 3 hours but found absolutly nothing. Even on the most stoich lawns. It's unfair :[ but I did find these:







and these 2 different mushrooms in a park, there were lots of the mushroom on the left around, and only a few of the ones on the right:

srry forgot to add they were all found on lawns, the lawns were in EXCELLENT shape. A picture is worth 1000 words :laugh:

you had better give some more deatails. read the top three threads in the forum and give a description in the format shown. the thread titled "read before posting" i not there as a suggestion.

amoung the deatails you will need to give, the spore print color will be invaluable.

it looks to me that they both might be Pan. foenisecii as they are rather common in lawns but the could well be Psathyrella, Panaeolous, Panaeolina or one of many other genera.

i beleive paneolus is one of the active species, if that is what they are

srry I just didnt have time to take a spore print... And I didnt have time to sit and wait :[ but mby tommorow I can go back if they can perhaps be actives and a print would be worth my time lol

Panaeolous is a genus [not a species] which contains several acitve species, but it is not likely that yours is one of them.

btw, when you post the full details, be sure to include your area [be general].

Those all look like Panaeolus foenisecii or very closely related mushrooms.

All of them are inactive. Very common lawn mushroom you have found!
