I think it would be pretty cool if there was an icon by our avatars showing if we're online in the chatroom or not. I also think that this would encourage users to make use of the chat rooms for real time cultivation advice :smile:

Probably not, what about that icon that's right next to the chat button? Could you put that next to someones name n' if someone clicks on it it'd link to the chat, FOM

after that. That still probably wouldn't be that noticeable, maybe someone can think of a better idea or OP.

FOM not sure you saw in the chat but the name select thing when you press the TAB key is case sensitive, not sure if this was intentional for some reason but it's kinda annoying.

I think adding a small icon with this would be a great idea. The text on its own isn't very noticeable, but if you add a green/red dot next to it like what's done for being online on the forum, that addition of color would help draw the eye to it since it would be the only icon in a block of text. Even just making the word "online" a hotlink to the chat might even give enough color contrast to draw the eye from the rest of the text block.

It's misleading. When I saw it, I thought this feature enabled you to instant message a person.

Most people will interpret a "lets chat" button under each username to be a feature that allows you to send them a PM-style instant message. Just letting you know.

that's actually how i thought it was going to be. like when you click on "let's chat" you send the user some sort of invitation for an instant message, one on one, chatting session.

not bad though. this will surely bring awareness to the chat features.

Option to turn on/off please.
How about default is off, so that way if anybody want to let ppl know they are available for chat they can turn it on.
