I like delta9's suggestion about "subcategories" for forums. I've added this into the BB, you can currently see it in action only in the ODD forum. When users make a new post they can choose a subcategory for it, moderators can also change a post's subcategory. The subcategory is then displayed under the post title and users can also filter on subcategories.
Hope this helps address these concerns, if anybody has suggestions for new categories in ODD or elsewhere please let me know.

Hopefully it will make it easier to navigate and search for specific information... Now if we can just get the noobs using it

Hey, I took your suggestion and added the ability to search in subcategories. If you use the search box at the bottom of the forum when viewing a subcategory, it will search only within those posts.
If you're serious about going through and categorizing posts I'll give you mod access to those forums so you can help out. It would definitely be appreciated!

Do you mean when viewing a subcategory post?
I can't see a way to any specific subcategory, and when viewing post, i have no option to search apart from the bar at the top.
I will, however, accept your offer of modship to poke posts into specific categories....at an hour or two a day, i can't say how long it'll take, but i'll start from the assend and make my way forward

Sweet I appreciate it you guys! I've made you both temporary mods of ODD and GQ so you can change thread categories. Just scroll to the bottom of a thread and select "Change subcategory" from the drop-down list. I think this will really help people out in the future. Thanks again!

Tryptamines and Marijuana/pot would be good additions.
And the ability to add multiple subcategories to each thread would be nice....ran across a few dual questions so far.

Yeah, some problems I have run into:
General Stimulants (not amphetamines or meth)
DMT/Ayahuasca
Salvia
Marijuana
Mescaline
Other enthogens
Multiple Drugs
Nutmeg (not really an enthogen)
Nitrous Oxide
Maybe general categories like stimulate, opiate, hallucinogen (psychedelic), enthogen, etc. etc. ??
Change amphetamine to stimulant?

How about making it so before a topic is posted, a search is performed with the subject and displayed to the poster. I think the biggest problem is that there is about 100 threads each, about the exact same things.
Or maybe the mods of ODD should just be a little more pro-active about deleting and redirecting new threads that have already been discussed a hundred times before. When some tard makes another repeat post, just delete it, and redirect them to one of the threads already stared about the same thing...

All the ones that are too vague or too exotic?
