Shroom Gone Head First!

So my friend has a PF Cake that finally pinned. Only now the pins are much larger, and one of them has growin right into the perlite with no sign of growing away from it. Should he leave the shroom to grow and see if it picks it's head up from the ground, or should he just pick the shroom?

Place something between the cake and the perlite, i.e. a small piece of tinfoil or an inverted lid. Make sure that you have indirect lighting from the top, not the sides of the fruiting chamber.

My friend would let that dude grow to see what happens. :grin:
