Keep ur chin up, dude, they have to be out there somewhere.  I actually tried checking some local shopping center fescue(feskew??) and there were just way too many people around.  I don't know how you shopping center hunters do it.  WAY too risky IMO.

I have been waiting for this 77th page for what feels like days now, thanks for posting the pics, guys. :tongue2:

These pics are awesome.  So then it isn't too dry/cold for weilii.....hmmm....maybe I will have a look later this evening.  I want to get some good shots of some beauties to add to my albums.  I am going to try some watersheds next.  This gives me a good excuse to crank the coal chamber...not that I need one.

Side note:

*":huxleyfacepalm: Try typing LC into the search function."*  Is funny because it actually takes more effort to type that than it does just to tell you that  *"LC=Liquid Culture."*  I guess it just makes some people feel good to say UTSF! Maybe they feel like they are teaching you to fish?:strokebeard2:Humans are strange beings, are we not?

Well, that's my lunch.....The Shroomery now competes with other forums for my time. hahaha

Happy hunting, guys!:heartpump:

Not many people are finding any right now. The networks were so dry they more than likely absorbed this moisture. Next rain it will be alot different.

It will warm back up, we just need more rain. Weilii grow well into November so as long as its not freezing it shouldn't hurt anything. Doesn't help though, it can stunt the pins.

Even when it freezes sometimes they will still grow for a little while.

I've been out looking recently round the same area, but I think its been too cold.  Looks like its gonna warm up, but will the lack of precip be an issue?

We definitely need some rain before any good amount will start growing. We need another miracle year like last year. Everywhere I looked there were clusters of 20-30 in the grass everywhere because of all the crazy flooding rain. I've only been hunting for about 5 years but I've never seen that amount before. So pray for lots of rain bc the weather conditions are getting prettying good minus the rain

I've seen a great deal of edible puffballs out lately.  I am guessing they don't require much moisture.  Didn't someone in this thread say that weilii are "thirsty little fuckers" or something like that?

By the time we get any rain it may be too cold (I know, I know, the frost-capped weilii pic).  Bad year to take up this hobby, I guess.

its always a good year to take up this hobby. i spend alot of time in a very cool habitat anyway so i find most of what there is to find, but rest of the time i work on my indoor projects.. which can be equally rewarding

Record breaking high yesterday, maybe soon the rain will come and wash this dry weather away...

Mushies are really very interesting, aren't they?  We should start a forum dedicated to them.

Hey Weiliiinmyyard, what is that last pic a shot of(the one on the right)?  Interesting....:strokebeard3:
