Yeah, thank God for this forum, because I would've thrown out two beautiful potent mushrooms. I spent about 2-3 hours just cruising around alpharetta, scoping out the new neighborhood's lawns, but not being too nosey. After a long search of not seeing even one mushroom, I went down to my park to look for some. I found mostly the usual amanitas and psythrellas, and decided to give up and go home. I searched the area of the park I hadn't covered, and at the last minute had spotted two good looking mushrooms. They didn't quite match the weilii's I had seen on the forum (mostly LK's posts), but when I cracked the stem they started bluing within 5 minutes. I knew something was up with these. Soon after both of these mushrooms were bluing all over and I became excited, but not enough to consume the unidentified mushroom. That following morning (today), nonsense posted pictures of mushrooms he had found, which of course looked identical to mine. After finding out that weilii's had the waxy smell that was unique about them, I consumed them, and they were good. Thank you to this forum, and especially LK, and some of the others that have provided info about weilii's. I appreciate it greatly.

well my buddy and i each ate 10 wet grams last night.  all in all a very mild trip.  one interesting aspect though, we got the regular shroom buzz that started about 30 minutes after we ate them, but at about the 2 1/2 hour mark the trip noticeable picked up and visuals became more apparent.  with other mushrooms, usually at 2 1/2 hours into a trip the potency of the experience does not continue to increase.  i wonder if it is due to the tryptophan present in weiii.  anyway, here are some more pics.  this thread has become very popular so i hope others can be helped to learn how to identify these shrooms safely.  these buggers really are easy to find  :wink:

dobie420_247, i would be happy to send you a print but like i thought none of them came out. i have two light prints that i am keeping for myself but my friend and i had so much fun i am sure we will be going hunting again in the next couple weeks. if i can get prints from the next round i will send them out. folks, please pm me if you want a print and i will send out a reasonable amount of them.

i forgot to mention, i wound up with 1/4 lb of dry weilii.  that's not counting a shit-load i gave to friends and the 150 wet grams in the fridge :shocked:

tryptophan is an amino acid.  no funny feelings, really, just nice pleasant relaxation, very mild, and only as part of the diet.
tryptamines would help yer trip, as that is what causes it in the first place.
the two-and-a-half hour mark is interesting. 
psilocyn goes straight to the head, fifteen minutes or so, boom.
then, after an hour or maybe closer to two, psilocybin has finally been rendered to psilocyn, and voila, another wave of pleasure....the other components i know not so well.  baeocystin, norbaeocystin and other tryptamines are present in many mushrooms we like.
who knows which one is hittin you on that second wave.
does any body have any references on this?
