Unless I should be taking thumbprints and smoking grams of n,n-DMT I don't think the amount is the problem.  I don't know though, I'm waiting for them to work again honestly.

Based on the prejudices that person has accumulated over their lifetime. For example (I am unable to find the source for this at  the moment), I have read of an experiment conducted a good number of years ago where they showed a very quick film of a white man struggling to stab a black man with a knife. The white audience overwhelmingly claimed to have seen the black man holding the knife. Although I admit this argument does not hold a lot of weight right now since I can't find the proof.

Faulty analogy.  That's like saying one interpretation of this image is correct.

Try this.  Look at a table and have someone else do the same at the same time.  Describe the table to each other and see how many different "tables" the two of you see.  I'm betting only one.

Realistic Ethics: the study of the human good and those acts which are required by human nature for its perfection,

How can these be realistic ethics if the goal is human perfection?

Nothing in the world of real objects is in a perfected state. Unless you consider everything as perfect.

That's a good point.  As I understand it, they are only pointing towards a goal with perfection in mind; they don't intend for anyone to reach it.  The cornerstone of their philosophy is built on one axiom found in Aristotle's book of ethics:  One should desire things that are truly good for oneself.  The standard rebuttal to the axiom is that we cannot know what is truly good.  I see that as pretty much nonsense.  The distinction lies between real goods and apparent goods.  I created a list in another thread last night.

What I like about the statement is it is axiomatic, i.e. self evident.  That is because it is illogical to consider the opposite.  It's what we call a first order truth in the category of prescriptive knowledge.
