I make music too.....but I would not rant on about it being "super fresh" it is ok, and I poured my efforts into it, and I made it, and that is all the recognition I really need.  if a few people tend to dig it, then hell yeah.

lol.....you must be kidding me right?  There is no ground to defend weather or not, I or you "Know music"  and the fact you would say someone does not would make me feel like maybe you have no backing to that theory.

  I know what I FEEL is good music, I have experience a lot, I have played a lot, I have produced a lot, 8+ years in fact.  I am not about to say that because I like psytrance, or blues, or any genre that it is a "good" genre, I just dig it. no 1 genre is for everyone.  and I have a sneaking suspicion that your music is not for a LOT of people. so best of luck finding those who enjoy whatever it is that you do.

keep making those "heady fresh vibes" that everyone is just going crazy for.  maybe you can get a fan base going?

no kidding.  I started with really early versions of fruity loops and acid, and my oh my the evolution of the DAW has been incredible.  I envy those still using analog.

in fact I started a thread that has grown pretty big dealing with the inner workings of electronica.  I mean, half the people I know that produce do not even know how compression works. :shrug:

daws are cool analog is kewler but to each there own... i like being able to record anything and make into what sample i want on a daw... but i'd also like a moog lil fatty and a roland 303 and shit... it's all cool instruments to me.

I have always wanted a 303, even for the novelty.  so rich.

  I like DAW because I can really visualize progression. and everything is so easily isolated and manipulated.

  I am taking a class in bamboo flute making tomorrow, speaking of knowing absolutely nothing of music lol.  I have made a few of my own already, but could never get down the hole placement completely.

I am pretty sure the roland 303 is a bassline/lead synth mostly used in trance.  can you do drums on it too?

I have got a few softsynth emu's of it that come really close.

you need to grasp time signatures oorr you needs lots of post touch ups to actually make the wavelengths match. :flowstone:

You should learn to take criticism a little better.

Personally music is my life and this sounds like shit to me. But I'm not trying to hate... I don't even really know what kind of music this is and I imagine a lot of people are in the same boat. Had you posted a rap song there's probably ~98% chance I'd think that sounds like shit too because I just don't like most rap music. However I could at least look at that with a more critical eye since I know what to look for.

Not everyone's a hater just cause they don't like your song. Different strokes and all that...

  def, what I Was trying to say.  we all have opinions, some maybe sync up, in the case of no time signature present, or just really out there beats that the mind cannot sort out, most of us are going to give a :thumbdown: to it because it just does not appeal.

it's like gabber, (which usually has SOME solid beats to it, along with the jack hammer bass drum) 1/1000 people will enjoy it. I had a 1 month phase of enjoyment with that, lol, and I am not so happy to admit it :lol:
