Uncontrolable anxiety around girls

Is there a scientific reason behind this? Whenever I start making out or whatever with a girl for the first time, I start TREMBLING uncontrolably. I can't do anything about it. It SUCKS.

You know, I used to have these same problems, but worse!  I couldn't even make out with a girl cuz I was so scared!

Then I talked to my friend Jack Daniels about these problems, and boy did he ever help!  :wink:

I think there is science behind everything. You could probably get drugs from the doctor like benzos. Or you could practice meditation, general semantics or use a brain machine. Just some suggestions.

Yeah me too. It's like electrical currents. The girl will usually give you a weird look, but hey, I'm used to those.

Hrmm... Try not focusing on "making out" or whatever as something you're supposed to do, like a test or something. It shouldn't be like that.
Clear your head and then just realize how much you actually want to kiss this girl, and then just go with it.

I think anxiety comes from worrying about what someone else is thinking about you. You should concentrate on what YOU think and what will make you happy in this situation.

The only way you can really get over this is more experience, I think. I'm pretty sure everyone goes through this in some form or another for a while.

Is because deep inside you feel some how you will be rejected, that you are not good enough, when you start to find and accept yourself, it will go away.
I think every one feels that way at one point or another in your life, but very few people with admit it.
Just love yourself more!

i'd have to concur with LOBO on this one - hopefully you'll find some of those infinitely mellow, tollerant cats who will give you the space to open up and share your sweetnesses and sorrows, heart breaks and joys, so that you'll feel no need to hide from yourself. eventually you'll have a breakthrough, and will feel more at confident and at ease with yourself.

The best way to fix the problem, (at least in my opinon) is to trip on it.
