but im sure not all
just leave it, let the broken down actives hit you strongly

Well, a friend and I did exactly this recently. I'll spare everyone a full trip report, but suffice to say that this combination resulted in a stronger experience than I ever would have thought. I had tried 2g dried shrooms soaked in lemon juice before, and it brought me to a pleasant ++ level. My social and locomotive abilities were (more or less) intact, and the trip never seemed overwhelming at any point.

A few weeks after that, the same friend and I parachuted 3g syrian rue about 45 minutes before drinking the lemon juice-cubensis slush. By the time we had walked fifteen minutes to find a place to smoke a bowl, we were already at a +. The next three hours were spent with our brains in hyperspace. Movement was all but impossible - I found that I couldn't sit up for more than a few minutes at a time - and articulation was sparse. At one point, I turned a light on for a moment to find my hat, and it stayed on for half an hour before my friend said "dude... why is the light on?", and then it would stayed on for another half an hour before one of us thought to turn it off. CEVs were beautiful, totally 3D and immersive, and OEVs were strong as well. At one point, I remember bursting out in laughter, saying "the walls are just moving so much!"

So in summary, the lemon tek will knock your trip up a notch, but adding syrian rue to the equation will blast you out of this world.

They let their solutions sit (stirring and all) for an hour before drinking, and didn't feel anything at all. Not even weakened effects. I know their shrooms were good because I've eaten the same ones a few weeks ago and they were quite strong.

that doesn't make any sense, perhaps you misspoke? Why would an empty stomach mean longer take off time? I think its quite the opposite from what ive experienced.
