i, like many other people, have attempted to jump around and get to the bottom of this concept. it seems like you've got two groups of people. those who want to know why it works (if at all), and those that just want to know how they can experience it. and obviously those who are in both catagories :tongue:

so far i've noticed most(not all) people who want to debunk it or claim it didn't work didn't follow these "rules" (for lack of better ways to put it) to success.

>use a real, fresh lemon and/or lime (a combination of the two, perhaps. ROOM temperature) don't use some juice, powder, or this or that. it's pretty simple..

>grind mooshies into fine powder. don't chop them up or think it's pretty grinded up. fine powder, fool!

>combine the two, let sit for about 5 minutes (if that)... i don't think it's a make or break situation to let it sit for a long time or perform any witch magic.. once again just keep it simple.

i read too many posts of people vaguely saying it didn't work, not taking into account they merely chopped the mooshies, or put them in cold lemon juice or something along those lines.

anyway, just wanted to throw in my two cents. and thank everyone for their contribution to the thread and concept. cheers. :thumbup:

I just tried the lemon tek last night and I am impressed to say the least. I ground up 1.15G and mixed with lime juice(not fresh), waited 25 minutes and drank it down. Within 1 hour I was having a level 3 trip (mostly level 2 though). the whole trip only lasted about 3 hours, but it was quite impressive for such a small dose. This was my best experience on mushies so far (3 previous trips).

So my friend offered me some shrooms last night and i told him i'd get a gram with the intent of lemon tekking it. He warned me that in his opinion one gram of these is near a 2.5 for him. Apparently they are just really potent shrooms from Japan. Should i not lemon tek these without any experience with the batch or just go balls to the wall. I'm thinking i'm gonna get my nuts ready to get slammed hard. But i don't know yet.

So I experimented with a bunch of my friends with this just this past weekend. All of us have taken shrooms at least 2 or 3 times before, some of us were more experienced than others. I tried the lemon tek alone one night a few weeks ago with a small dose of .8, which gave me a nice body high and some mild visuals, so I knew it worked for me. But I couldn't wait to try it with more people and with a higher dose.

I had about 9-10g of dried shrooms, broke them up into as small little pieces as possible, and split them up between 8 of us. We each received roughly 1-1.3 grams (with one person asking for a small dose of .8). We let our shrooms sit in the fresh lemon juice for about 20 mins, and cheered to a (hopefully) fun evening.

15 mins later, we all confirmed we could definitely feel something.. a pleasant body high.

about 25 mins later we knew we were all tripping.

About 10 mins after that, one of my friends disappeared and hid in his car. He had a cast on from breaking his hand a week or so before and was trying to gnaw it off. His wife, who took the smallest dose, was able to calm him.. she put some tunes on for him and let him ride out his trip in the car, checking on him every so often. (He said later that he had not expected such a small amount to hit him so hard and fast - even though I warned everyone! and it was probably not a good idea to do this with an uncomfortable cast on his hand!)

The rest of us had an AMAZING time, to say the least. About an hour into it someone asked what time it was, as it felt like we were tripping for hours and we were shocked (and pleasantly so) to see it was only an hour in. We were definitely all peaking around this point. I was seeing some amazing visuals, fractals, trails, colors.. we were outside and it was spectacularly beautiful. And very giggly! One of my fellow trippers brought along a Zoundz and we each took turns composing our very own "theme songs" for the night. One of my experienced tripper friends was happily surprised that he had some impressive visuals, as that's a rare occurrence for him. (He has said to me repeatedly now he can't wait to try this again, but with an even higher dose!)

So we ran around outside, laughed at eachother, played with some glowy toys.. and about 4 hours later we were all coming down. Some of my friends smoked some weed, I had a glass of wine. It was a very easy and pleasant come down. I almost wished I had more for us all so we could keep going :smile: but it was good timing, as most of us were sleepy and my friend with the cast couldn't wait to get home!

I think the dose I took, 1.2, was perfect for me. Next time I'll do twice that, but take the second half when I feel myself coming down. I like not waiting an hour for it to happen, and if I decide that I don't want to keep going after the first 4 hours I can stop then.

So all in all, it was a wonderful experience!! I don't think I'll ever take shrooms any other way ever again!

I tried it "by the rules" each attempt.  Multiple tries over years of experimenting with repeat failures.  Powdered into grapefruit juice has the least taste and seems to be nicest on the tummy.

just got done sampling 1.3 gz with the lemon juice. i'm a veteran shroomer and it was said to take half of what you normally take to be careful. no prob. i'm still in the afterglow stages so forgive my stupid typing n shit. but let me just say that this is exactly like if you just made tea. i feel like i made a 1.3g tea.. i'm happy having tried it out, i had pleasant feelings and visuals. i feel like i really got the most out of that 1.3, but i simply enjoy the 8r feeling. wish i woulda just made tea and made it a little stronger. but i dont think its anything more than a nice way to take down yer booms. i suggest everyone try it out. and realize what it is for you. adjust accordingly. it wasnt a waste, it just wasnt anything more than what it was. there are so many good ways to ingest shrooms. this is one. this and tea seem to have the affect that it hits you faster and stronger but ends quicker. that is all. i repeat: hits you faster, stronger and runs its course quicker. simply put.

. More of a smoothie, Used my magic bullet to whip up a intense little shake thing. 35G fresh cubes two table spoons of lemon juice and about one and a half cups of water. I let the liquid sit for about 3 minutes after ( dunno if this effected the potency but im suuree it didnt haha.) Made sure I had a empty stomach and pounded the thing with a shot of pepto to help with the normal stomach cramps I get.

I am going to try this out tomorrow. I am pretty excited. I have tripped on shrooms six times. I have taken a dose of roughly 3.0 grams five times. I took a dose of about 1.5 grams once. Every time I took 3 grams I had an incredible experience. Strong visuals, very intense trips. Just incredible. When I took the 1.5 I just felt really high, but tolerance also played an issue there since I had taken 3 grams the night before.

So tomorrow I am going to squeeze two lemons and one lime into a glass of orange juice and then put in 1.5 grams of crushed mushrooms. The thing is, I tripped on 3 grams of mushrooms on Friday. So my tolerance may be an issue. Anyway, I will report back tomorrow on my first Lemon Experience.

Had a great time today. Poured a small glass of orange juice and squeezed two lemons and one lime into it. I probably could have crushed up the shrooms better but I broke them up pretty good. They were not powder though. I would say I put in about 1.2 to 1.4 grams of mushrooms. The first thing I had to eat or drink today was the mushrooms in the orange juice so I was tripping on an empty stomach haha. Also, It is important to know, I took about 3 grams on Friday so I had a tolerance going into this.

I drank it at around 4 in the afternoon. I started to feel pretty happy about 20 minutes after drinking it. I didn't have much of a body high yet though. It took about 45 minutes to hit me good. The body high was very strong and I felt amazing. I was with this girl and was just grooving off her good vibes. I don't think I would have gotten this intense of a body high without the assistance of the orange juice, lemons and lime.

I smoked about 75 minutes after drinking the shrooms. Before smoking I was very euphoric and had a great high. The bud made me even higher and happier. My perception was a little off so I knew the mushrooms were really hitting me. Due to the small dose and my tolerance, I did not hallucinate really. There was a few times where things looked a little distorted though.

I would say I peaked for about 2 and a half hours. When I was coming down I was laying down and looking at the sky. Man, it was crazy, I don't know what it was but the sky just looked more amazing than usual.

I am happy I tried this. I would say I started to come up after like 30 minutes. I started to peak after about an hour. The peak lasted for about 2 and a half hours. Then the come down was probably about an hour. So the shrooms wore off about 4 and a half hours after I drank them.

The way I see it I made the best out of the situation I was in. I had a small dose and a tolerance and I think the way I ingested the shrooms really made the trip better.

I may try this again in the future but with an eighth and with no tolerance. I am only hesitant because I like a good long trip, instead of making it shorter with the lemon method.

i just signed up because i thought this topic was pretty interesting

anyways i wonder if someone could try doing the lemon tek and tea TOGETHER. so you get the more intense trip of using acidic lemons minus any nausia or sickness feelings you get from digesting the mushrooms. so basically you would crush up the shrooms to a powder, soak in lemon juice for 20 minutes, then pour the juice into another glass. take the shroom powder which is wet, put it in a tea bag. brew up a tea, take the bag out, then add the lemon juice to the tea. it'll sweeten everything up plus it adds to the trip. i wish i could try this out but it's been pretty dry over here lately.

you get the best of both worlds!
