I will try this the next time I do mushrooms and then post the results. Intensifying trips is definitely a priority for me.

ok so two nights ago me and 3 other buddies did 4 grams in lemon tek and tea each. so what we did was squeeze about 1-2 full lemons per person, grinded up the shrooms and added them to the citric acid. let it sit for 30. then strained the shrooms out and used the left over sludge to make tea. so we poured a cup of hot water (not boiling just hot) and made 4 cups of tea using 16 grams of leftover sludge. strained the shrooms out again and threw them out. then we took our shots first, then drank the tea as we were feeling the comeup. the tea tasted sour, almost like neo citrin.

as for the trip, we felt it coming on about 20 minutes in. then we started tripping really hard after an hour, and it was REALLY intense for 2-3 hours. i've eaten 6 grams of shrooms and it was not this intense. lemon tek definately makes you trip about 2-3 times harder than just regular eating. the come down is pretty quick, at about the 4th hour we were finally functional, and it almost seems like you just snap out of it.

in my opinion, this is the way to do shrooms. it's long enough to be enjoyable but not too long that it seems like you're going through a marathon. plus there was no upset stomach or dirty shroom taste because all we did was drink liquids. just watch out with the doses. 4 grams made my friend black out for a bit, and i hardly even remember what happened that night. regardless, it was definitely a fun experience

I think I may have stumbled upon a possible mechanism for this; someone earlier said they were a chemist and wondered just what was happening...batheinthefountain are you about?

For your consideration, from the infamous wikipedia...under Psilocin..."Psilocin can be obtained by dephosphorylation of natural psilocybin under strongly acidic or under alkaline conditions (hydrolysis)..."

Perhaps what is going on is that you are converting the psilocybin to psilocin, which would naturally occur in your body after ingestion, but after a time lag for it to work through your gut....thus skipping the normal time for conversion in your body by doing it in the shot glass with the lime/lemon juice.

Just a thought from the too tired, over caffienated mind of an apprentice...

Good explination. Not complete though. Is psylocin absorbed in the stomach? If so, the lemon tech would be comparable to using a bong instead of a joint.. its stronger because the rate of administration is faster due osmosis rates. But if psylocin is absorbed below the stomach (seems this is the case considering that such drugs usually take 20-40 mins to really start coming on) then all the psylocybin is presumably going to convert in the stomach before the shrooms reach a lower digestive tract. Maybe our body doesnt really convert psylocybin completely in the stomach?

perhaps the ride up to peak is the continued conversion of psilocybin to psilocin..

in my experience, the faster you achieve the highest concentration of the drug (whatever it is) in your system, the harder you got off, but the shorter the experience..

i.e. snorting as opposed to pill orally of the same drug; snorting will be harder but shorter than the oral route..

maybe we are making more of the total dose load dump earlier...

come to think of it, acidic juice and stuff with high tannin levels are known to cause "load dumping"or "dose dumping" from what are normally extended release pharms, mainly synthetic opiates like fentanyl...

just blue skying here ...don't tell anyone if I'm silly wrong, OK?

oh and if psilocin is water soluble, then it will diffuse thru the cell walls of all the tissue it is near, like alcohol...then it doesn't need to pass thru the gut to start hitting u....

considering i have gotten off hard in 10 min from some Costa ricans, i doubt all the way past the tummy is necessary....

however, i am no genius, i simply play one to my friends...

well... after looking up all chemical terms you used I must say it sounds familiar with my theory...
It's just that I'm having a very hard time translating my theory (I'm german).

It may have been covered before, but a word fo warning about the lemon tek. My wife and I tried out some PEs I just grew and put 0.8g each into lemon and lime juice. Body high was the most intense I've ever had and visuals were incredibly detailed and "infinite" (you know what I mean). Trip lasted about 2-3 hours, but at the end it seemed to just drop us to the ground really fast. I started to hurt all over, stomach hurt (my wife violently puked hardcore), and the head trip took a dark turn. This lasted about an hour straight and we smoked some herb and started to work through it. After the actual trip the afterglow and body and stomach aches kept us up for another six hours. We just laid in bed watching movies and smoking waiting for the ambien to kick in.

Just be sure to be careful for your first try since there can be undesirable effects as well as the fun ones. At from the same batch the next weekend in tea and felt amazing with almost no side effects.

Also this was kinda strange. I am on Pristiq (weaning off now) which is an SSRI. Usually shrooms work fine just with no weird head trip and a headache the next day. Well with the lemon tek the Pritiq didn't stand a fucking chance. Once the visuals started I actually started tripping in my head as well. It was a very strange experience since I haven't been able to head trip in a long time.

The intense visuals and head tripping that's what the PE does ...Its good shit

Oh, trust me, I love the PE shrooms. Best experiences I've had on mushies yet. It was just strange to head trip since I haven't been able to do that in a long time because of the Pristiq. It felt good to know my shrooms could kick the pharm's ass, but at the same time it kinda freaked me out because they are obviously THAT good. lol

try your gram without any assistance.

titrating dosage should start with a low dose with no other drugs in your system. once you have an idea what that is like, THEN take a running leap off the dock into the mushroom pond....*grin*

if you freak out on the first time with lemon tek, you will have no idea if it is only the 'shrooms or the tek or what if you don't like it...and you haven't really learned anything about how you react to shrooms...

Alright, I've read through about 10 pages of stuff and haven't found anything yet and don't plan on reading the other 46 pages, so can someone please help a brotha out?

I've got about 4 grams of cubies tonight and want to experiment with this little idea but I don't really want the immediate dropoff.
If I take 1g via lemon tek and 2g with cranberry juice, will i get that fast come up, intense peak, and then a slow come down? Or will i just get buttfucked?

Well it depends on you and also the shrooms. I think you might be happy with just 2g via the lemon tek. From what I have read that provides a pretty intense trip.

I have not tried this tek but I think that is where I am going to start.
