I asked that question because it is necessary for your argument that there are distinct things called people.  If people are causally (or otherwise) buried amongst everything else, then it would be pointless to attribute anything to "people."  You obviously didn't understand where that question came from, so you called it a stupid question.

No, I obviously called it a stupid question because it was a stupid question. For all intents and purposes insert your own idea of what "people" are into what I said and see what you get. You do it all the time with language, why would you think this instance is any different. Or do you need me to define every single little word just in case. But then again, I can't be sure you'd understand the definitions even if I defined them, so why am I even bothering with you now..

Three words just for you:

Not an argument.

Haven't you ever heard?  There are no stupid questions, only stupid people.  I might be stupid, but at least I'm not grasping at straws and calling you dumb.  I disagree with you that we can ground our ideas of belief into terms of people, and to call your bullshit I asked you to explain what you meant by people, full well knowing you couldn't.  So why don't you just admit that you know nothing and you can calm down.

Hey I'm perfectly calm, a little bored after talking to you, but calm.

It's not that I can't define people, I just refuse to play your games and it's more interesting to see how you squirm when your attempts to change the topic take the topic completely off track. I also found it amusing that out of all the words I put forth, you chose "people" to question. It's not even a vague abstract noun. Did you notice how you used the word people again in the last post? What are you using that word for when you claim not to know what it means? Sure you are grasping at straws.. :yesnod:

Not an argument.  If its so simple, then you should have no problem answering it.

I can't argue with someone who refuses to.  Actually, you really ought to make the move to M&P since you refuse to debate your ideas.
