Interesting. I have similar feelings although not as intense as some of you. As I'm not a native english speaker i find it a little bit difficult to accurately convey my thoughts in writing. I often feel very alone in this world since there is hardly anyone i can really talk to and have a meaningful exchange of thoughts with. Most people i know who like to talk about philosophy and spirituality seems to lack real understanding and depth. They just recite the same tired old bullshit over and over again and not once have they actually said anything original or been able to follow my train of thoughts without fucking it up. I have met intelligent people, witty people, wise people but not one of them has been able to really challenge my mind.
I'm above average intelligence but I'm not a genius according to the stanford binet test. It doesn't bother me much tough since i feel iq tests are to heavily relying on the functions of the left brain which in my opinion is nothing but a good organic calculator and does very little to promote original thinking.

The universe exists outside our minds.
Wha?? Are you serious? How can you be so sure?

I feel very much the same way you do. I've spent my whole life asking the question "why?" ...Just don't fall into the trap where you think that you know "enough". There's never an end to learning and gathering knowledge.

I have always felt that although I may be very isolated, I am not alone in this world. If you know what I mean

Sounds like you're on the right track...
Here's one good thing to remember though, that many of us have trouble with:
Don't forget that just THINKING about these types of things and just making these previously-unrealized connections isn't useful. You have to actually APPLY this stuff to "SOMETHING."
I tend to forget that all the time, and just sit there in awe at the fact that I'm even able to comprehend some of the things that come to mind.... sometimes it feels like I'm actually really DOING something when I'm just simply sitting/laying there processing information - but i'm not
Pick an important career, man - you're on the right track
-------------------- Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.

If you read the Truth? thread I created and still ask that question I cannot help you. What evidence do you have that it isn't outside of our minds?
