A Couple Grafts I Wanted to Show Off
    #11241702 -

The first is a Digitostigma caput-medusae seedling that I've successfully grafted to pereskiopsis. :awesome:

I think this is an Ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus seedling. I grafted it a few months ago and it definitely didn't take well, except for one red bulge out of its side. It now looks like the bulge is growing and out of the calloused material on the other side, two tubercles are popping through!

Both of these are going to be awesome to watch mature!

Thanks guys! Yeah. It should be really neat watching these develop. I can't say the species name of that Ariocarpus either. I just made a copy-pasta from google. I've never seen a graft partially fail and come back. Have any of you?

Oh and btw, mankey I'm getting a T. Pseudopectinatus and T. Pseudopectinatus Crest soon!!!!

They look ALMOST identical to P. Aselliformis, you seem to like them so I thought I'd point them out to you if you hadn't seen them yet

Wow! Those are beautiful. I think I've seen them before, but I always thought they were P. asseliformis with different spine formation. :awesome: I'll have to check those out. I plan on grafting some of my T. subterraneus, T. jauernigii, and T. lophophoroides pretty soon too. I really need to concentrate on some pereskiopsis propagation right now. I've been neglecting them too much due to hundreds of seedlings I started a couple months ago. :hehehe:

Same here man same here.

I grafted an A. Asterias v. Super Kabuto and an A. Kotschoubeyanus today as part of a speech on grafting for my public speaking class.

Shaking hands from oratory anxiety(although I have little) and sharp blades could have gotten bloody

Mmm... Morel Hunting. Can't wait until April. When I was in public speaking I did a speech on permaculture that included mushrooms (a la Stamets). People didn't really get it though...

Yeah. It's really unfortunate that most kids would rather hear a presentation on how to "do a keg-stand" or something similar.
