I've done it a few times, but the guilt eventually gets to me.

Normally, if I get a viral infection like the flu, I start feeling really shitty about the situation (I have depersonalization disorder, so anxiety is a problem for me anyway, and when a viral infection hits, its like a solid panic attack for the length of the illness) and always break it off with the girl.

Haven't done it in a while because the girl I'm with now is a real good girl, but I've done it with at least 4 previous girlfriends.

Oh, and it always lasted 1-6 months for me, I'm really good at juggling friends/girlfriends.  It keeps your brain sharp, always being a little on edge, always keeping alert in public places making sure you don't run into another girlfriend or a friend of that girlfriend, having to learn all your girlfriends friends to keep vigilant, keeping your text messages freshly deleted, or constantly changing the names of people in your phone to make it looks like a dude or your sister is messaging you 20 times a day, having to keep events straight.  Living a double life is good for the mind, bad for anxiety.
