we should start a party or an organization advocating the worldwide human (and perhaps the animal) population to enter the psychedelic state at a specific time all over the planet, by whatever means possible..

yeah, but how? the wrong side won thousands of years ago, and now we're all stuck under the thumb of religions that say entheogens are drugs and need to be stamped out.

obviously because they're not, and they open you're mind and show you when the preacher is pulling the wool over your eyes.

i agree with you, but how the hell would you do that?

would you have to start first perhaps, a party who's goal was to obtain the legalization of all natural plants phsycedelics, so that we may once again connect to our mother earth without fear of jail? then, once that was done, they would open their minds about other chemicals, and the world could change.

but the 90% of the worlds governments are against ya. how would you solve their judeo/christos/islam/buddhist jaded minds and convince them these things were more than mere "drugs"?

I like your thinking but we don't need another neurosoup in this world, those who need to walk this path will find it. Excess info out on the web on the use of legal (or illegal) entheogens only raises the attention of governments and ultimately leads to banning of our most treasured plant teachers.

I love the idea personally. Unless I misunderstood, this is not necessarely about politics and social acceptation of the entheogenic experience, it's more about sharing a group experience, a global one similar to these movements that encourage people to have sex all over the world at the same time or to meditate at the same time, wherever you are on the planet.

I usually scoff at these movements, but a psychedelic one like that is interesting to me. OP, PM me if you need some help, I'd be willing to lend a hand.

Maybe. For some, I think the potential is in them, but they need a little nudge to transcend their own inhibitionary programmes. Others cast aside all programmes in a piercing instrospective moment, and for them the path may be more clear.

edit -- I think this is a good idea, but it'd need to have more than drug-using teenagers as proponents. I'm not up to date on psychedelic researchers, but the modern equivalents of Lilly, Huxley, Hofmann, Alpert, Watts, Strassman, and McKenna would be powerful forces... but I don't see scientists of their calibre signing on to something like this that hasn't already established credibility.

We could never get all involved but I must say I'm interested in this. If all could trip at once it would have to be powerful.  We got 420 were lots of smokers light up in the name of weed on April 20th. If we could just set a date and spread the word we could get multitudes of people tripping at once..  I'm in.
