how many people do you think are tripping (salvia, dmt, shrooms) at the same time throughout the world, i would imagine it's in the 100s, but what if through promotion online/offline, etc. we could get a much higher number by setting the event at a specific time/date.. the number itself should have some significance to it.. i like 11:11pm on November 11th

Or on 4/20 at 4:20PM, the collective consciousness from all the Cannabis smokers and people tripping will be so powerful, the energies will combine to form the most powerful hero in the world:

Why not make 4/19 the national trip day then we can celebrate two days in a row. Plus 4/19 is the day Albert Hofmann took his Magical Bicycle Ride...

edit -- I think this is a good idea, but it'd need to have more than drug-using teenagers as proponents. I'm not up to date on psychedelic researchers, but the modern equivalents of Lilly, Huxley, Hofmann, Alpert, Watts, Strassman, and McKenna would be powerful forces... but I don't see scientists of their calibre signing on to something like this that hasn't already established credibility.

haven't you heard of shulgin? or andrew wiel? or the head of the NAC, james eagle mooney? all of them are high caliber, high profile, and fighting for rights and research.

but pot does not take you up there, you only get to the launchpad.. i think we could start with fliers poster around campuses, etc.. i would imagine the suppliers of salvia could get on the bandwagon as well with promotions and so on.. but the point of doing this is to really summon, as you so eloquently put it, the most powerful hero in the world because a common trip report is that "it" is all about us being connected up there

I agree with MileHighMycophiles. Wouldn't a National Trip Day bring unwanted attention to a somewhat underground community. If teenagers learned of certain Research, compounds would be getting Scheduled ASAP..
