why is this so important to you? just curious..

I once opened up my "heart chakra" and HOLY SHIT was that intense. I was trying to have an OBE and in order to do that your chakras need to be fully functioning. It felt like i just received a shot of adrenaline right in my heart but when I put my hand on my chest I didn't feel like it was going 10 beats per second!!! I had been lying in my bed for like 15 min trying to open it up, and all of a sudden it just exploded.

its not the kind of thing you want to arc up directly.
think 'the sorcerer's apprentice' from disney.
by directly, i mean, the way chodamunky did it, by focusing upon a chakra.

better to study and meditate on the symbolism of kundalini and chakras. for me, tarot and alchemical paintings hold the most interest, there are plenty of options - tibetan mandalas?
by concentrating on the pictures and becoming aware of their messages puts your mind in a perspective that allows things to just happen naturally.

I doubt I can help much but I thought I might add my own chakra experiences here to see if anyone have anything to say about them.
A year or so ago I spent weeks meditating on my chakras, with the method of visualising that I was pulling energy up through them starting at the root. All I really noticed a was that after a while I would get sort of a strange sensation in the areas I focused on.
One day I decided to smoke some weed and try it, and it was an interesting effect. I had the sensation that all the chakras had connected and were very activated. Then I felt as if they were all I was and my body had ceased to exist. I don't know if this was the effect of the weed or if this was what I was supposed to feel.?
One other experience I had was meditating on my forehead chakra for a really long time while tripping on acid. After a while I had this feeling like my entire head was ripped open ,not in a bad way but in an energised tingley sort of way. Then I felt like I had astral projected , but I won't go into all that. The odd part is that my head kept that opened up tingley sensation for about two weeks after that.

Three of my chakras got infected when I was six years old; and I had to have them surgically removed. I was in the hospital for almost a week- but they gave me ice cream and codeine so it wasn't that bad.
