I disagree.  Some are faking it, but I think that the vast majority of men who exhibit these traits actually have them and are naturally being themselves.  I also think that the non-confident and boring dude can adopt certain strategies to eventually turn into one of these guys.

Tons of quality guys get left behind and not noticed.  I know absolutely loyal, nice, and great guys who are habitually missing out on females and general life opportunities because of how they live (or don't live) and how they present themselves.  It's not about being fake...it's about turning yourself onto a more positive and rewarding life path.

go watch people cheer for american idol and go to republican conventions and tell me people don't have all sorts of seething hatreds insecurities and sadisms.

even better go read the psychology reports about how humans act when you remove the social constraints against sadism and hurting people.  Like experiments with electric shocks, dogs, people being assigned to prisoner/guard roles, etc.  Human nature sucks, especially the human nature of people who don't know how to get high.  We don't want people acting like themselves, most people are barely better then the chimp that ripped off the womans face a few days ago.

The list in the OP is essentially a very long-winded and dating-specific way of saying, "get a life."

If you have a life, getting ass is easy. You don't need to adhere to a list of guidelines, you just need to not be boring and to be doing something with your life.

This is a good way to be regardless of how much ass you get for it.

The change in how women will treat you is shocking.  I don't look any different.  I don't have any more money.  I used to be one of those dudes who was uncomfortable around women because I was shy.  I stumbled about, made the whole situation uncomfortable, and turned the girl off because she could tell that I was not assertive.  She could immediately tell that I did not have anything going on in my life.  Now, I don't give a shit.  I don't let social situations overwhelm me.  I have stuff going on and I have stuff to say.

I didn't change who I was inside.  I'm still the same guy.  I just put a sheen on the package.

Dude, I defended you in the other thread, now I get why people think you're so friggin' annoying.

A life is to get out. Do stuff. See interesting things. Talk to plenty of people (yes, face-to-face, not online). Go to school, get a job, do volunteer work, all of the above. Chase your bliss. (Not ass.)

When you do all of this, it reflects naturally in your demeanor, and women are drawn to it like moths to a flame. The attractive ones learn how to avoid people who don't have a life very, very early on in their lives.

I read this DiAngelo site in desperation once, after failing to get a chick I really, really wanted. I'm not going to turn this into an endorsement for David DiAngelo, because I never went back to that site or bought any of his crap, but I got the message pretty clearly - get a life, and you will get ass without effort. If you feel a need to put effort into getting ass, it's because you don't have a life, and you are doomed to failure, unless you carry around a little checklist to figure out how to fake having a life.

I preferred to get a life, it's working out pretty well for me.
