Another weilii find!

stumbled upon these today. Notice the monster! thats the biggest one ive found so far.LK whats your biggest weilii find?

Nice find man. Can we get a pic of that big one with a lighter or something for size refrence? The biggest I've found had close to a 4 inch cap.

My biggest was about 5.5 inches in diameter on the cap, and the stem was enormous.

4.5-5" with a stubby stem
it was growing out kind of sideways on a steep hill :blush:

I have found some monsters before, no paticular one stands out in my mind, found many a big ones. Last week though I picked one with a 6.5" cap and a stem that was about 3/4 an inch thick, twas a big un :smile: Theres a few patches that I have that put out nothing but monsters for some reason, only ever 5-6 mushrooms in these small patches, but they are huge! Ps. weilii can get giant, just as big as cubes IMHO.
