Heres a few more I picked today after returning from the mountains on a camping trip. Its getting a bit dry outside, and a few of the mushrooms had already faded. Soon as it rains again though, there should be lots more on the way.
Here are a few pics from todays pickings...

There are a few good pics in there showing the partial veil cortinate, and also a few good ones showing the bluing. I've only found about 2 dose this year so far, so the pickings and the pics will get better. I didn't notice right away in the field, but for the lasy few days I've been shooting with the auto focus off, so some of the shot weren't the best of quality.

I know, mitch, but you see the thing is, I already fucked up last year and shared the location with a close friend who is the craddle robber and patch raper. He doesn't know season has begun, and doesn't think it starts till late august. This patch is on a used trail, and if he passes by and sees anything, he will start raping the patch within days, and then its an all out battle the rest of the year to pick weilii in this paticular patch. So I harvest the mushrooms on the edge of the trail side regardless of their age, just to make sure they aren't spotted. Its all good though, I stumbled on a few more nice patches later today and think they might have great potential, they will never be revealed :)
Let just say about 30 miles east of Atlanta.

sweet, keep it secret! does your friend also read the shroomery? if so then he now knows :) i sure would like to try some weiliis. they look unreal! they really do resemble other generas with those translucent stipes and intense coloration of caps. almost like hygrocybes. :)

Nah, he doesn't even own a computer, no worry there :) They are unreal, very potent and long lasting, not speedy at all, very relaxed and VERY visual at around 5 dried grams.
