Possibility of a black holocaust after Obama term Economic Failure

As I was trying to fall asleep I kept thinking of this quote by Zorbman in the ZIRP thread:

"2009 - False Economic Recovery
2010 - Return of Inflation
2011 - Hyperinflationary Depression"

I was thinking about this at some length, wondering why our government wouldn't see this coming.  Finally, it occurred to me that it might be a possibility that they do see it coming.  I have been kindof enchanted by the metaphor blazing saddles provides for this time period, and how Obama might actually have been set up to fail.  Right now our government is resting on a huge defect, and is even still giving money out hand over fist, I think I should be hard pressed to find anyone who disagrees with that.  Right now, our economy has most likely not caught up to the massive amount of money being injected into the system inflation-wise.  I find it extremely hard to believe that no one in government other than Ron Paul and a few others see inflation on its way.  So, what are we to take from this situation if we assume that they do expect what will happen, a la Zorbman's prediction?

When there is a lot of money being released into a system at once, it needs to spread out and have a place to go.  If there is no expansion, then the money just piles on top of what is already there.  Right now, there is no real "growth" industry that could sink out such a large volume of money.  What is being built though, and funded more than anything else, are prisons.  Now, lets assume that someone in government has a fairly good idea of what all this lethal cash injection will do to the economy.  Essentially, the Obama presidency will consist of all three parts of Zorbman's prediction, if he is on target at all.  This means that Obama will have one year of relative prosperity, followed by two years of people becoming very, very, pissed off at him. 

What will happen when there is post-WWI style hyperinflation in America being blamed on a black president?

What has our government done to keep our economy afloat for this long?  Build prisons.  Without the massive spending on defense and incarceration, all the money in our economic system has absolutely no where to spread out.  Our government is essentially pulling our economy up by its own bootstraps.


So, when are they gonna stop smiling and start burning niggers?  This is the question I have been asking myself this past week, with the Oligarchy of Clinton-Bush in mind.  If we aren't careful, we're going to have a bunch of Medici's on our hands, with Karl Rove playing Machiavelli.  Fortunately though, like all fascist states, the Medici failed.  But do we want to wait until they fail on their own?  I sure don't.  The problem remains though, how can this economy both, A) Find a place for all that money to stretch out to, thereby preventing inflation, and B) End the Military/Prison industrial complex?

My answer?  Legalize Marijuana.  It would create an industry that would have to immediatelly be built from the ground up, Farms, Warehouses, Commercials, Manufacturing, Confections, "Coffee" Houses, and Ritzy High-grade establishments.  This can be our money sink.

The government isn't "pulling the economy up by it's own bootstraps." The money is coming from foreign countries. On loan. At interest. So the economy is being pulled up by places like China and the UAE. It's not so much that there's too much money, there's too much BORROWED money, but it's too late for me to start down that road.

True, legalizing weed would mean an entire new economy, but it would come at the cost of the economy built around weed's illegal status. Guess who wouldn't like that (hint: they blow billions of dollars and use children as unwitting meat-shields).

I think what we are seeing will only vaguely echo all of the economic disasters of the past. America is finally facing a problem that can't be solved or sufficiently glossed-over by throwing (whoever's) money at it. Has Obama been set up to take the blame for a total economic collapse? Who knows? I just hope, scapegoat plot or not, he can pull some magic out of his ass and start turning things around.

As for a holocaust... If there's going to be one, it should be based on one's propensity to stick fingers in their ears and make noises when they are presented with facts that conflict with their world view. Unfortunately, this is just as likely as America rounding up all the blacks and killing them outright.

Illegal immigrants would be first.

You'll probably laugh but I have what some might call a working knowledge of macroeconomics.  I ran the economy of a MMORPG game for a while, and its pretty much the same shit only pixelated. 

I don't think the voters were in on it, of course, that would just be dumb.

Of course they see it coming. They have been playing "kick the can down the road" for many years now. Desperately hoping 'That Hour' would fall on someone else's watch.

Why do you think they changed the bankruptcy laws a couple of years ago? I was driving in the boonies a few weeks ago and came upon an absolutely Palacial building freshly-built and named after a state senator and it was a Bankruptcy courthouse. ALL they do is bankruptcies there.

In the middle of nowhere. Hmm..

You will see a lot of dodge ball in the coming years and when it gets ugly (and it will) some scapegoating.

Personally, I have begun the process of tuning the media out and gotten more in touch with my local community.

Which has prompted me to move.

As for Obama, of course he will get the blame. I feel for the man or any human forced to cobble together a functioning country with the pieces left to him.
