Ever meet a chick that is perfect for you... but just fugly?

I've had this happen quite a bit. I'll be out partying with friends then they introduce me to a friend because we have similar interests(nerdy science shit). I'll talk to the girl and realize that our interests are pretty much the same and we have the same outlook on life... But shes just... Not attractive.

It might sound like a shallow thing to say, but come on, everyone has physical standards. I hate the fact that most of the girls I get along with are not even close to my "looks" standards. I'm sure someone out there knows exactly where I'm coming from. It's just unfortunate, eh?

Nope... because being hot is one of the requirements for a girl to be "perfect for me".

If they're fugly, its an automatic disqualification.

It really seems that my intellectual + looks standards are way off par. I can get a hot chick that is a complete retard... but where is the fun in that? I just can't even hook up with a girl who isn't intellectual. So that really, really narrows my selection.

As far as pics goes... I would never do that to a girl, regardless of how well I get along with her. I wouldn't want my pics posted on a random interwebz forum, I expect my lady friends would feel the same way.

Well, to be honest, looks never played a big role in the girls I dated.  I've never been very superficial and I find all types of women attractive if the personality fits.  Its not often that I see a girl who is absolutely so ugly I wouldn't date her on looks alone.  But I've often met hot chicks who I couldn't stand after about 3 words.

I understand, but still... where is the point where you overlook physical standards over compatibility? Thats a really tough one for me to figure out.

If I had no qualms over looks I could have probably found the right girl by now, but meh... I guess I am a bit superficial. But I'm sure everyone has their own turnoffs that are just... unacceptable. Thats the case with the girl(s) in question.

She might be 'perfect for you' cause she wants to be perfect for you.  I was at the bar last night and this fugly chick was hitting on me and she was trying her hardest to appeal to me, but I'm a hard read and she just kept pissing me off so I donkey punched her.  Chicks who know they only have their personality to count on are pretty good at manipulation, especially on drunk guys.

All of that is true except the donkey punch...that was just comedic relief.

Was it in Athens, GA?

All of my friend's that live in Athens, GA (UGA students) order from Gumby's Pizza when they are shitfaced drunk. If they're online they always tell me "OMG GUMBY I JUST ORDERED PIZZA FROM YOUR COMPANY." I just LOL.

Nah they have one in Madison Wi where I used to live. But one of my buddies goes to UGA and is a big Gumby's fan aswell

Honestly... the pizza/calzones from Gumby's are sub par. I've had that food many times while visiting my UGA friends. UGA is a fun school though, I will give them that. I almost went there. Glad I didn't though.

Yeah the pizza isn't great. I like the pokey sticks but I just ate that pizza a ton cause I got it for free so I got sick of it.
