so what ur sayin sheepish is, that cubes dont grow in the winter because its too hot and dry? i dont get it? i live in ms if that hepls any..its always hot and humid here..rains alot too..durin the winter it doesnt get cold at all..

Oh, ack. I misread the post. I thought it said do they grow DURING summer. Well, yes, I think most shrooms grow around fall/winter when it's cold enough and raining more than usual. However if it's TOO cold, then it'll be hard for the little buddies to grow.

thanks sheepish..i wasnt questioning your knowledge because im very new to this..but i know what cubies look like and ive gone hunting and succesfully found some up to 60 before..have a cow pasture about a mile away..i was just praying that theyll grow during the winter..i like them alot!!! i plan on picking every other weekend if they grow durin the winter

Well, sounds like you do better than me! I haven't found shit yet. And cubies don't grow here. Really not sure of the season, but as long as you can find them, then no worries! :smile:
