and thena fter u blaze u can make kandi 2gethr
then at the rave u trade kandi with every1
then after the rave u read all ur new peices
and sumtimes sum1 trades u an old peice u havnt seen in ages and u get all tripped out by the long jurney that kandi has taken

Oh god, not rave names.  That was my most hated piece of the rave culture.  Luckily in this area most of the people hated it too.

"What's your name, where are you from?"
"Oh, I'm SuperDJSparkleKittyFluffikinsSkittles!  That's my rave name!"

This girl I used to hang out with would make bracelets with all black beads and hand them out.  The message read, "I hope you overdose"  I thought it was hilarious.

No, because these are anonymous tags on a message board, with a good reason for anonymity.  A girl telling you to call her CottonKitty to her face is just retarded (real life example, a good friend actually).

A lot of ravers are HUGE, HUGE escapists.  I've got a lot of friends who are ravers, but there is definitely a large group that just want to eat drugs all the time and live in a fantasy land.  Rave names perpetuate this line of thinking/not thinking.

Ive noticed the same thing with punks, hippies and "family", they always have wacky made up names. Still escapists, just a different scene.

This thread is prime time hilarity through and through.

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.
