Creation & Evolution
    #8553110 -

Creationism will always distance itself from Evolutionism, and vise versa, they are inherently symbiotic, in other words both theories are hosts to one another, although  both seem to be the antithesis of one another, although, both theories together with their dogma are required to form a rational theory of our existence and  subsequent consciousness.

Creationist will say evolution is impossible without some intelligent design, and evolutionist say that we have evolved intelligently, and creation had nothing to with it. There in lies the irony, I feel that in order to rationalize both theories we could say: did the creator kick start evolution, which seems logical and simple to me and probably worth some intelligent debate.

Creationism would only make sense if God had kick-started evolution (which is necessary for species' survival so it's an important feature, thanks God :super:), but why God would go out of its way to confuse us is beyond me.
It goes to the courtesy of explaining to us, through the Christian Bible, that it created the Universe, but left out the part about it hurtling us, and the rest of the mass we can see, through space at enormous velocities.
Why go to so much trouble to manage the unimaginable depths in space when God is clearly very busy trying to manage humans?
If humans made contact with an extra-terrestrial form of life one day, would the Church claim they were an apparition of the Devil to test our faith?

The heck? I see no irony, just a very confused post.

The only people that are concerned and make all the hub bub about this "question" are creationists.

"evolutionists" don't give a shit.  Last time I saw someone picketing for evolution was.... umm... oh, I've never seen someone picketing for that.  For Christ, the bible and creationism, I don't think I've gone a school day without seeing someone holding something talking about these "immense" issues.

Whether you believe your updated biology book or your bible, who cares.  Why not read them both and make a decision for yourself.

Hard to debate without evidence.:crazy2:

I see the evidence for evolution but not for a conscious creator.

As long as there's a disagreement, each of these positions have an equal chance of being right. Therefore, why care?

Where is your evidence for this opinion.

If I say that a blue eyed worm created the world does that get equal billing with things that there is actually evidence for?

This is a debate forum. You could say why care about any subject here.

Having a chance of being right before evidence is maybe what I meant to say. But Validity and the chance that something has to be right are two different things.

Your right, may this be a lesson for all us psilopsychonauts. Trying to focus in on the keyboard, and control the cursor is difficult enough, never mind attempting to articulate the esoteric questions, while under the influence of a heroic dose of psilocybin.

i was actually just thinking about this

im pretty sure the creationist theory supports the religious belief that man and animal are separate and man has a system of morals that separates us from the animals who dont exhibit these

its that desperate urge to feel special

but all things on earth are special

if they only knew

while I wouldn't take that funky fungi to be the "cure" for anything, I think it can definately be a tool to redirect one's line of thoughts.
