Hair loss is a symptom of excessive marijuana use.

Average person loses 100 to 200 hairs per day. Its even more noticeable when you have long hair. I wouldn't worry about it.

if you are truly worried and serious enough to do something about it, call your doctor and make an appointment for hair loss. Tell the doc/nurse that you tried Rogaine and didnt like it and heard about prescriptions for hair loss. Do your research before you go, however, because they may try to get you on propecia, which is fine if youre rollin around in $$$$. Most of us, however, cannot afford another $100/mon bill since insurance doesnt cover it.
But do not despair! There is hope yet as the active ingredient in propecia, 1mg finasteride, is also sold as prostate medication in 5mg form. It's exactly the same drug, and not only is it 90% cheaper, it's also often covered by insurance. I talked about it with my doc cause im a student and cant afford propecia, and she looked it up in her drug book. She even called the pharm to make sure it was okay as long as i was instructed to cut the pills into quarters. She then wrote me a script for 8 tablets/mon with three refills as a 'feeler script.' Im due to come back for a checkup on my liver before she writes me a longer script. At the pharm, it was $14 for the 8 tablets (5mg finasteride) and $2 for a nifty little tablet chopper.
My buddy did the same thing before me and got like a 2 years worth script with refills for like $3/mon.
Do it. couldnt hurt.

beav,
there is no cure for hair loss and I seriously would not even worry about it.
long hair looks great on guys when they are young, but it makes you look like a total douche when you are older. i don't know why guys get so worried about hair loss, women don't care nearly as much as we do about it.

Amen.
I'm 23 and have quite the receding hair line. I don't really care. I mean if someone said "I'll magically restore your hair", I'd say "Go for it". But as for taking pills or rubbing shite into my head every morning, I think I'd rather waste my time doing something productive like smoking weed or masturbating.
Yeah and girls really don't care about looks they care about confidence.
My only regret is not getting a Mohawk while I had the chance. I can still look like Terry Nutkins though:

colbadol hit it right on the head, i believe there was an article in febuary's Mens Health about this.
Some things I've heard too is wear hats less, massage your scalp once a day in the shower for longer than usual, also try to keep stress to a low, as hard as that can be sometimes.
good luck.
btw, my hair is thinning somewhat and I'm only 24. Don't feel bad, it happens to the best of us, just don't let it get to you. most girls aren't worried about it and if they are worried that much about it, their not worth your time anyway.

That isn't true. You have a 50% chance of not getting his hair. I'm sure stress plays a huge part also.
