i think i understand, as i have experienced visions of sorts too

it happens when identification with the ego and external world ceases, sometimes for mere moments, and i realize the dynamic evolving state of everything, rather than perceiving everything as static. it used to happen intensely when i meditated for an hour then took a long hike on a mountain top... it is unexplainable, but it is definitely there. it is like a vision of the world as one being, growing as one being, into what i don't know, but it is though i will find out eventually..

Ive never had visions before. I have had some experience with things like this though, one thing you have to be careful with is not to go to far. When things like this happen in your sober, waking life it easy to become un grounded. This can be very dangerous. You have to try and keep a certain amount of rational thought, along with your amazement and wonder. Ive been having some really interesting experiences lately, i feel in some way more aware of the miracle of life, and the miracle of being conscious. Its like beginning to break through the dream like monotony, where you can see a miracle before your very eyes but not even notice it. I'm sure tripping and meditation have led me to this, both have changed my view on life for the better.

can't become too attached to rational thought either, that would just bee cutting oneself off from the buzzz of life.

accept the past as past, and all thought of it as mere memory.

i am grounded when i feel connected to myself and the earth. others may feel grounded when thinking like everyone else. to each their own.
