My cat kills plenty of things for no reason.

She won't eat them and just leaves them on the kitchen floor.

And she prolongs the suffering of them by using their battered and bleeding bodies as toys until they die.

The hyenas (sp?) did quite well with those large numbers.





I liked how the video showed the lions not getting to eat their meal and being all depressed,then showed the male killing the hyena.The video made it seem like it was revenge or something.


I had the video on mute and was listening to a perfect circle-sleeping beauty.So the chase scene at the end was pretty epic :thumbup:

i found the national geographic special this came from. it should be done downloading this afternoon. in the review, it said that the male lion picked the leader of the hyena clan and that was the slow motion video. it is of the big male lion killing the hyena queen.

i'll let you all know if the special is any good.

I wonder what was going through that last hyena's mind during that run. I did not envy him. I have read that all cats kill for fun. I watched a crocodile hunter segment about feral cats in Australia, domestic cats gone wild if you will. He said the were some of the meanest predators around.
