Che Guevara Flags in Obama's Houston Office

Barack Obama won’t wear an American flag on his lapel, but on the wall of his Houston campaign office: a Cuban flag with a picture of Communist mass murderer Che Guevara.

Could you imagine if some of McCain's volunteers were found with say, a Confederate Flag, or a Nazi flag hanging in THEIR office!

What the fuck?

Fuck Obama for jumping on the teen-hero Che Guevara, though. People know his picture but not his name, so Obama is fucked now because people will think he likes mass murder.

I think there is a bit more to Che Guevara's existence than being just a "communist, mass murderer". Isn't he a political icon for certain people? i.e. people who don't like our current governmnet?

That doesn't change the fact that he was responsible for the murder of a great deal of people.

So is George Bush. What did Che do to make him famous?

He overthrew an immensely corrupt and vicious regime. Unfortunately for his legacy, the ends do not always justify the means.

Hahahahaha, yeah, Obama himself hung that there to spit in the face of the American people so he can be president and sell us all out to terrorists. Just because someone who works in one of his offices hangs a Che flag, it does not mean that Barack is any less of an excellent presidential candidate. If you think that a Che flag is a good reason not to vote for Obama then you're probably too dumb to be voting anyway

It should read:

Obama won't wear an American flag, but someone who is not Obama is hanging a Che Guevara flag on their own wall.

And replaced it with another brutal regime. Yipee. What the Che/Castro choad slurpers here are ignoring is that most of the American electorate doesn't hold them in such high regard and that, though he didn't hang the flag, it still looks very bad to most Americans. Who vote. Given his already far left labeling this was very stupid on the part of his supporters. They couldn't have done more damage if they campaigned against him.

Agreed. That was probably not a nice phone call they got from campaign headquarters after that little piece aired on the news.

The fact that some of you can vote scares me.

To which side of what opinion, and for what reasons? Are you saying that an Obama campaign worker having a Che Guevara flag is apt material to dissuade voters from supporting Obama, or are you saying that removing support from Obama because a campaign worker had a Che Guevara flag is ridiculous?

Thus far, this is literally and metaphorically untrue. The only realm in which this is anything noteworthy is the "ultraconservative" blogosphere, which littlegreenfootballs.com is at the forefront of. No doubt Obama will recoil hard from the loss of their votes.

You have to be kidding me. Does anyone really think this is important. Does anyone here actually believe that Obama wants to emulate Che? Give me a break, this will do NOTHING to hurt Obama. More over I haven't even read a single source, even a Fox News article yet, that says his office has a Che flag.

Its politics, my friend. It is nothing new or novel. It is the way things are done.

Two of my favorite political quotes of all time. The first is paraphrased, as is from memory...

Quote:

Lyndon B. Johnson said:
I know my opponent, while he is a pig farmer, does not actually have carnal knowledge of said pigs. But lets say he does and make the bastard deny it.

Quote:

The Conneticut Courant said in 1800:
If Thomas Jefferson is elected President, murder, robbery, rape, adultery, and incest will all be openly taught and practiced.

I'm waiting until it morphs into a 9-11 Conspiracy thread.

It's only a matter of time.
