when i was a little kid i actually liked the smell of tobacco, and car exhaust to an extent, they both just so smell like the products of earth.

Well, last summer I had to have a coronary bypass operation and six days in the hospital kinda cured me. The withdrawals were pretty bad at first, although I wasn't crankey - just kinda keyed up there for a while. I like the money not smoking has saved me (I coulda bought I nice house with all the money I spent! :argh: ) and I do feel worlds better.

You want to smoke, because you're fat?

Fucking stupid. There's plenty of fat people that smoke. If you want to loose weight, there is no way to get around it, exercise more.

You'll save yourself a lot of money, won't be short of breath, and being fitter makes your high much more enjoyable, I find.

horrible idea sirbojangles. just like Visionary Tools said, the only healthy way you'll lose weight is by diet and exercise. if you start smoking, it'll make exercising more difficult.

if you start smoking, your oral hygiene will become poor, your cloths will smell, and you'll have a new label(smoker) that'll make some people actually not like you and not want to be around you.

i actually find that some nice potent cannabis will help eliminate the desire to eat for me, as long as i dont start eat (AND I MEAN LIKE, 1 POTATO CHIP WILL SET THIS OFF) thats when i get the munchies, and they hit really hard

either that or v8 is really good

What's the use in the label? I've smoked on and off since high school, I'm 26 now. Most recently, I quit buying cigarettes about five months ago after smoking about 6-12 hand rolled cigarettes a day for about 6 months and American Spirits roughly a quarter pack+ a day for about 2 months after that.

I recognize that quitting smoking can be difficult, but that doesn't mean it can't be done at ANY moment. Don't want to smoke any more? Quit! That's how it would go too, but most of the time when people say that they hate smoking and wish they could quit, what they really mean is they hate a lot of things about smoking but also really love and are attached to some things about it therefore, they're not quite prepared to quit just yet.
