I just get a defensive knee jerk response at the anti-smoking mafia. Its the same mentality that made the War On Drugs possible.

Half the surface area of a pack is filled with death threats nowadays and the price is up 1.000% due to taxes - that won't be used to the benefit of sick smokers.

Smoking sucks but people should be allowed to do things that suck.

When I get my motivation together I'll quit, I agree on the risk. The way smokers are persecuted nowadays is complete bullshit though.

I smoked an entire cig once, in 1 single hit, during end of highschool celebrations.

Put the butt in the bowl of a bong and ripped that shit.

10 seconds later, power spewed for several minutes over the entire apartment :thumbup:

I never understood cigarettes... I've tried to enjoy them but they do absolutely NOTHING to me (besides make my mouth, clothes and skin taste like shit!)

I would be interested in perhaps trying good, pure tobacco in a traditional, "shamanic" way, but in my opinion most modern cigs are pure crap. :shrug:

Honestly, what positive effect are they supposed to have? I *wish* I got something out of smoking, I envy people at my job who look forward to their smoke breaks!
Maybe I'm just genetically immune to nicotine or something?

Good thing I'm hoping for an early death or that information might have made me quit. I would shoot myself but that would be to obvious and cause more pain for my family. I prefer my suicide to be slow :smile:.
