People, don't smoke cigarettes! There's no other reason for it in this society other than trying to fit in, or be different, depending on your situation. If you asbolutely have to smoke tobacco why don't you roll your own? Get a rolling machine it's easy. If it's a visual thing, you like the feeling and look of smoking, that's fine, but roll some joints with that rolling machine!! SMOKE WEED INSTEAD FOR GOD SAKE!! If health is not a major concern maybe knowing that you're a nice little SLAVE to daddy Morris , or whoever you buy from, will make you want to quit.
thats why im growin my own, its wayyyyyyy healthier and free!!

after this new federal tax causing the price of rolling tobacco to increase 250%, i'm really wanting to cure up some tobaccy of my own. i had the idea to go out to a tobacco field round these parts and just take a couple of dying leaves falling towards the ground, but i realized it's way too early in the growing season so there are no mature leaves for me to filch. dag-nabbit!

also, the guy you're replying to will never see your reply. the thread is like 7 fucking years old.

Chemicals occur in all sorts of products. Especially in trace amounts. Sometimes it can be difficult to determine if something like "ammonia" is a twisted use of fertilizer, just present in tiny amounts, or perhaps added in large quantities to alter the uptake of nicotine.
Heck, even I'm made of chemicals.
Rather than complicate the public knowledge about smoking, why not just post the objective data concerning its use: You are more likely to have a serious illness, especially in late adulthood, if you smoke.
I think it is reasonable to say that most people know by now that smoking is bad for you. Bad news, due to the tobacco settlements, we still have to hear these small media firms waste valuable resources on their ads. I am going to go crazy if I see another guy with a loudspeaker pretending to do guerrilla theater with cartoons.

Why cure? Why not go, but uncured natural tobacco, take mouth fulls like the Native Americans did, and save. There is much more nicotine, so you wouldn't even be able to smoke it like store bought shit(that is heat treated) because it would kill you.

i've done a bit of reading on curing tobacco. easiest way is to just let it hang in the sun for a month or two. the result is a low sugar, low nicotine content with a smooth smoke. sounds ideal to me.
and i'd rather smoke than dip. believe it or not, smoking actually offers social benefits. if you want some one-on-one alone time with another smoker, you've got the easiest excuse in the world. it's a reason to hang out and talk with other smokers outside. and besides... it just looks too cool.

Yeah...I hate it when people use that comparison"so can standing outside, durr". Smoking is proven to cause specific, aggressive cancers and damage to the lungs, especially in people who smoke alot. It isn't like weed, where you can smoke once a week easilly. Hay, if I had a bon fire going and had real tobacco, organic, uncured, I'd do it, but cigs are a dip-shitty drug.
